Change the CODE! You nearly made me faint! You don't just "Change the code" all willy nilly, why that would be reserved for something like a commercial expansion pack
This is a perfect illustration why this is so silly. Is there a *rational* reason not to just make every expansion pak stand alone? Only a *very* small cross-section of customers will be interested in an Xpak and not own the original. Since this section is SO small, it comes accross as petty...
I wonder if you could make them all :yuck: and  for a while, and then pop the :culture: at about 2 pop?
I imagine it is expensive because it allows you to take a city during peacetime. That be powerful stuff.
I'm skeptical that it is any nastier, or even as nasty, as the Legion.(oh sorry, I meant Praetorian:mischief:) It is sick, as was the cossack, but I think the Romans still got it.:goodjob:
I got that feeling very strongly, especially after I re-enabled the original opening screen :) I don't read sinister undertones into it though, it's just the final result of tons of incremental improvement.
That is the single most... UNHOLY suggestion I have ever heard. Are you aware that musketmen only have a power of 9? I genuinely hope for your sake that this is an odd joke :D
It's funny, you know. I wasn't even thinking in political terms when I made my replies, but I suppose this is borderline political :crazyeye: I swear I wasn't actively trying to start a political debate. :)
Yeah, supply and demand only goes so far. If you have oil at say 100X the value it is now, I would have to imagine it would wreak considerable havoc with a lot of things. Still, as I said before, I am not an expert.
To be fair I never said or implied ugh, and I was thinking of something more than a rock. I was picturing simple percussion however, so I am definitely still wrong :D Interesting how early some of those things came to be, much earlier than I would have thought myself.
Oh no no no... some of the combos are straight raw unfiltered chunky . .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. I for one will *never* be suckered into playing MP with any leader/any civ.
Cheeze that comes to my mind(admittedly not the *best* player ever)
Boudica of Rome = Praetorians of Doom
Hammurabi...
A better question is, do you want to listen to authentic music from the dawn of time? Clunk clunk clunk cla-clunk cla-clunk... you know that is all it would be
Oh come on now! ;) Isn't it just so much more spiritually soothing to believe in the big evil shiftless corporation and the lone brilliant under appreciated modder?
Yes, but in the case of a game being available on steam, what is the ADVANTAGE of Direct2Drive? It seems to me "I don't like steam even though I don't know why" is usually the *advantage* to D2D.
Yeah but for some reason I think at least 25% of the forum would be happy with a whole ton of leaders that were aggressive/imperialistic aggressive/protective aggressive/charismatic etc ad nauseum :crazyeye: Some of them have a sense of historical accuracy that overpowers their sense of game...
