    I have a slightly different problem. Though it's probably solved by the same solution pintocat posted. While using GEM, a Scout can get an event or ruin or whatever that gives a choice to either clone the Scout, or turn him into an Archer with ITC promotion. That's fine and dandy, in my book...

    Thanks. For whatever reason, I was expecting it in the handicaps, game speed, or global defines. Never occurred to me to look at the resources themselves.

    Can someone point me in the right direction as to where it is defined that each unique luxury gets +5 happiness? I'd like to change that number, but can't seem to locate the right tag anywhere.

    If you save to the database, not only can it be completely overwritten / deleted the next time mods are changed, but it will not be part of the save game file. That would mean you couldn't take a save from one computer and use it on another.

    All those functions do is check the conditions and return a boolean. There's no input. One problem with terraforming for those who have tried is that the graphics don't update.

    Some systems can run larger maps than the default (120x80?). I think folks have reported success up to 180x90 or so. That's a lot more tiles to play with. As for larger maps crashing Civ, I have no control over that, and no idea if Firaxis can optimize their code to squeeze any more tiles out...

    Handicap in World Builder Scenario Editor

    I would assume that the handicap affects each civ exactly as a handicap would affect a player. I base this on the thought that the scenario editor does not assume a single-player game.
