I don't think this will be patched. So, you can play it with fog of war off and choppy graphics. My advice: just wait on buying it. They might decide to do something (pretty please). You might a newer laptop later on and the game'll cheaper. No point in spending $$ just to get dissapointed.

Amen bro. Even current laptops have Intel vidsets. This sorta reminds me of Master of Orion 3, except that game was truly sucky. Maybe Galactic Civilizations 2 will fill the void.

Sorry guys, Radeon 7500 (32 MB) isn't supported. And the unpak solution won't help you with black terrain. From what I read, Firaxis decided to raise the requirements last week. Guess the minimum wasn't working. If you look at the readme on the CD, it still says 32 mb though. And now...
