I would offer myself for a helper position. I've modded mods to my own liking. To that end self taught at xml modding. Coding was what I wanted to do. Never really got into graphics. I love the mod and want to see it succeed.

Easy peasy. W/e color was chosen. Kablooie they end up in Civ 5 for another confrontation ! Also Normandy looks great!

I've got the latest file 4l which is a full install and have been trying to play it. Yes, I am fully up to date with BTS as I play other mods. Every single time, I choose a map whether it's play now! or custom game. So far I've tried 4 different maps, wormhole spiral galaxy, spiral galaxy...

I wanted to chime in and tell you, Maniac, how excellent the mod is. I've always wanted a SMAC sequel myself. I am SO glad you are making this. I own SMAC and SMACX (in addition to all the Civ games). You are truly doing it justice - and it even looks Better in the Civ4 engine! Cheers mate!

Is there a way to train Veteran troops at a university like there was in the first Col or must they all be purchased in Europe? Do you advise warring with natives to gain veterans over being nice and getting their training and converts?

I liked playing Rhye's for a while. I played the other scenarios on BtS some too. I liked Charliemegne and Broken Star. Final Frontier wasn't my cup of tea but I tried it. Saving my favorite BtS scenario for last. Road to War!! Try and get the beta add-on pack.

I'd love to be a playerpesterer too!! er playtester that is. I loved SMAC, I'm so glad there's a team out there hammering away on a mod.

Ok It's working now. Er as well as it does (as noted before Corporation and Espionage buttons are blank ) Everything else works just fine, and wow its good to have a new UI color.

Actually I was using my \My Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS\ instead of the program files\firaxis\ etc. one. Thank you. The UI mods by themselves are working now. So I'm guessing I should move my mod's folder to the one with \program files\firaxis\sid meiers'\beyond the...
