How would you script in a cold war anyways? Having the AI make weapons they rarely ever bother using, unless very specific events become the breaking point, sounds like a bit of a challenge to script in properly.
I think this is one of the places where gameplay necessity overtakes total historical accuracy. But I don't think Leoreth has ever tried to establish absolute historical accuracy anyways.
A turkic civ would work well to full the massive void in central Asia. Playing much of the game with...
I notice going for warrior caste tech first, and focusing on your military in early game, is literally the only way to play this mod right now.
But I see no issue in that, but that's just me. What always happens in the end is that I have a solid military by early/mid-game, with no barbarian...
Oh you're testing it very differently than I was. I stuck to the original civ I was playing, and went right into world builder and just erased one civ, and then tried progressing my turn. This is how I came to my specific results. If the turn progressed when a civ was erased, then I blamed them...
Hmm I did test it by selectively deleting every civ, and found only the Malakim were causing the crash. What I would do is delete everyone in the game except or me and one other civ. If the turn progressed, then I figured it wasn't them, and Bannor wasn't the cause from my tests. It was always...
OK I was being smarmy there, since I always get annoyed seeing it instead of Teotihuacan. Monte Alban was a decent regional power, but its power and influence pales when compared to Teotihuacan.
If you were to put Teotihuacan in it's place, it would be either two or three tiles north of Monte...
Something more should be added to Eastern Europe, like Lithuania, Novgorod, and even The Golden Horde, since Russia gets really nothing to push against except maybe Poland, when in reality Russia was at war almost constantly just to expand.
Oh, also I'd love to see something done about...
Hey has anyone looked at my saves? I am curious if the crashes can be repeated, and the reasons they are happening. I was able to pinpoint which civilization was causing them, but have no clue why they were causing it in the first place.
Post is here...
AI spamming siege units seems like a huge problem in late game. I recently went to war with the Khazad, who had a huge empire and were relatively advanced, but all he had were stacks of trebuchets, which made conquering him pathetically easy. He could have easily made a proper army with his tech...
I'm glad to see this mod is in development! I have been playing it a lot recently, and two games I played had what I guess is a crash at very specific turns. The turn just never finishes, requiring me to tab out or even restart just to get out of the game.
I did something I did in earlier MoM...
Hello! I am using the latest version off of git. Each turn I get spammed with the error in this screenshot. The game runs fine as far as I can tell. I wish I knew how to turn that error spam off.
When I collapse as Egypt, the turns continue, allowing me to pick the new civ, where I went and won the game. Is this intended? I've never see it before.
I am pretty sure I have never touched and changed those files. I go TortioiseGit and then Fetch. Usually when I do this nothing happens or I get the above error.
I tried fixing it today by doing a complete wipe and downloading it again. That seems to be the only way I can get updates now, so I...
