I have not played since Civ 3 but noticed that Civ VI is still going so I thought I would try it. Still not certain if that is a good decision.

Try checking the pediaicons.txt for a bad line. It seems that it thinks # is a filename. Also check scripts.txt

There is another file for swordsmen that the game doesn't find but i don't remember the specifics. Something to do with a space missing in the filename.

It is on the scenerio properties and called Disasters. Don't forget to back up the .biq file before you edit it.

When you are ready to start a new game, you may want to go into the editor and disable the plague. Either that or just change how long it lasts or how severe it is. Like Birdjaguar said, it can be paralyzing. You always have the satisfaction of knowing it is hitting the ai cities as well.

I think it lasts 20 turns although not sure. Just remember the ai's suffer it the same as you do. Only they don't move units out of the cities. They suffer a lot. The plague never got changed from the original authors version but i never did that even though it should have been changed. Feel...

The properties screen should look almost the same. Follow the directions above and you will be all set. You need to make sure the file isn't read only.

If you want to mod your copy to do that just for you, go ahead. There won't be anymore official changes.

You can try sending them a private message. Personally, i would just go ahead and use it. Just credit Snoopy in your documentation.

You can't drag it far enough to see the whole buttons, only the top of them. Drag it using the bottom of the title bar. I know it can be done because i've done it and all the other modders have to do it to make their mods. You might have better luck if you reset your screen resolution to...

It's not a matter of scrolling. You have to actually move the window by dragging the title bar up. Once you get the title bar almost off the screen you should be able to see part of the buttons.

There aren't any newer versions to download. You have to drag the window up until you can see the buttons.

You could also try shift/print screen

I don't remember all the OCNs but you can find them in the editor.

Chamnix is correct. WLTKD only lowers wasted shields not commerce.

Check the preferences. There should be something that tells it to always build the same thing. Also never let the governors handle production.

A good place to start is to make sure CampaignRecord.hof and HighScores.cv3 are not marked as read only. They are both found in the Conquests folder (the top level one, not the Conquests\Conquests\ folder.)

There are some wierd bugs that pop up when you continue to play after the game has ended. This could be one of them that i haven't heard about before.
