    DnD Alignments ModMod

You made Sabathiel and the Order chaotic? And you made the Calabim lean toward chaotic as well? Cassiel is the archangel of balance, and the fellowship of leaves is about as purely neutral as it gets... the list goes on. Look at the palaces of the various civilizations. Ones that get law...

    Huge Pre-Settled 21 civ map

The default settings for this scenario allow the AI to build units without the building requirements. Anyway, I turned off world spells and have a game well under way that isn't suffering from any crashes... well, beyond memory allocation stuff from such a huge map. I am wondering if the...

    Huge Pre-Settled 21 civ map

Hmmm, good to know this may be linked to a spell, although I am not certain it is a world spell. My game also crashed about 40 or 50 turns in, but I thought arcane lacuna had passed well before that happened. Worth a shot, as I really like the setup.

    Sephner

Sphener is definitely my favorite unit art in the game now. Possibly the best unit art across several games.

    Lanun Uniquness

The sea city idea has been floated before (no pun intended), and it has some implementation problems I believe. The Lanun are much like certain other flavored civs... give them the right map type, and they're incredible. If they start with pearls and some other sea resources, they also do...

Khazad Mines - Can't be pillaged? Barbarians disagree

At one time, before the current effects of earth mana, this was the case. Dwarven mines were a separate improvement that could not be razed and had a greater chance of getting a resource. This went away quite some time ago. Looks like the tip needs updated.

    FfH2 0.30 Bug Thread

The engineers are because of the forge event. Happened in a couple of my games as well, but in others the event never even came up. Living world may be affecting it, as I haven't had the problem since I shut it off.

    FfH2 0.30 Bug Thread

The forge events definitely need toned down. I'm wondering if it's linked to the khazad being in the game? Some are reporting not getting the event at all, but in a game with all 19 civs, great engineers were popping up all over the place. I couldn't build a wonder without one. the AI just...

Events, or Living World in particular

Actually, I'd like to see the main problem with the current events addressed before coming up with new ones. That problem being the fact that they all seem to happen to your capital or the exact same unit 99% of the time. That other 1% does happen, sure, but the vast majority of them hit the...

Balance of Defender Trait & Elohim

The Elohim leaders actually did have 3 traits in the past if I remember right. Defender was more of a side bonus back then than a main trait, much like Ingenuity. I do miss Spiritual for them though. It was fitting and great with monks.

Enchantment 1/enchantment 2. Why enchanted blade before flaming arrows?

I don't think that's the point. What he's politely pointing out is that the shear volume of complaints you have flooded the board with may be drowning out other discussion.

Amurite Art: Why does every unit have a flaming hand when...

Why does a flaming hand imply that a unit must have fire mana? A simple burning hands or magic missile isn't represented by the more major spells. I just assume it is minor battle magic that is contributing to their strength score.

    Axemen too strong too early?

That's because an axeman being strength 5 relies on actually having copper. Granted, it isn't that difficult to find, but your complaint is still dependent on multiple aspects of game type. Maybe you should try playing with different game options or adopting one of the strategies others have...

    Empyrean. Is there a point?

Their holy structure (Dies Diel) also does something extra over the other ones by giving disciple units an experience bonus. Also, ratha's and radiant guards are simply better versions of chariots and axemen, and they keep their spells when you upgrade them. The other day I even got an event...

Death Mana... too useful for a mage civ?

Based on Govannon's pedia entry I have always thought it odd that he's teaching people to raise skeletons. He's still one of my favorite heroes in the game, and he'd remain incredibly good without it. As for Lichdom, yeah, it pretty much feels like a requirement. The thing is, every civ has...

    Arghhhh....Vassal creates war!!!

I've actually tended to turn off vassal lately. I had a few games where victory just went to whoever researched feudalism first. While it was nice to see the AI playing dangerously effectively, it also was annoying to have so much rely on one tech. Whoever got it first suddenly controlled...

    Kuriorates adaptive trait

If this gets changed, then while they're at it I'd like to see civs starting with the pacifism civic going away, other than maybe Cassiel who actually gets a benefit. Right now it just costs me a turn to switch at some point so I'm not paying extra for units.

    FfH2 0.30 Bug Thread

Yesterday I came across a stack of Auric Ulvin's workers on a mana node along his border. He had 6 workers on it, all building a different kind of mana node with different completion times.

    Kuriorate Units/Races

I really like the idea of the potential for random racial promotions on their melee, archery, and recon units. It would be much like the current religion promotions. Most roleplaying source books give percentage breakdowns of races for nations, and this would be much the same for the percent...

    Axemen too strong too early?

I would think bronzeworking would fall into a builder strategy pretty early on anyway. Being able to remove forests (which I constantly seem to start with over 3/4 of my tiles) is pretty important. Getting axemen or even just copper for defense is a very useful perk.
