    Guess Them Eight New Civs

Lithuanians saved ALL OF EUROPE from the mongols in the XIII century. Lithuanians and Poles defeated the Ottomans! And 1920, the gates of Warsaw, was one bad day for Tuchachevsky (general of attacking Soviet forces). If Lithuanians aren't included, i hope at least the Poles are.

    Unit Workshop

I still don't see why it is NOT a CIV-thing. That's what makes nations different. Their uniqness. I guess that the UNIT WORKSHOP use would take more time, but it could be an optional feature - those who don't like it can use the basic units (say the one with the BEST features after an advance...

    Unit Workshop

Why wouldn't it? Additional capabilities are an advantage, not a disadvantage. Anyway, much has changed about units and warfare from CIV1 to CIV3, this would be another step toward more realism and greater gaming.

    Unit Workshop

How many people remember THE UNIT WORKSHOP from SMAC? Besides the introduction borders, it was the greatest part of the game. Why wasn't this feature enabled in CIV3? To those unfamiliar with THE UNIT WORKSHOP, this is a key element for building units. Instead of being able to build a...

    Civ3.com Update: Conquests!

Also, i wish there would be more modern civs, rather than ancients ones, because it is stupid when there are 28 ancient units and 3 modern units. What is the point of having 4 CIVS replace a spearman into a special unit, and totally equalling the game later on? Screws up the Golden Age...

    Civ3.com Update: Conquests!

Shame on you! Mithadan! calgacus! Shame for talking about Lithuanians like that. Here is a short summary about ancient Lithuania, and think for yourself if they do not deserve to be included into CIV. Fact 1: Lithuanians were a culturally strong group of nations about 1500-2000 years ago, and...

    No Culture Flip Strategy

Hm... I say slaughter them. Or if you are fond of being a huomon-louvour (that's human-lover in french), bomb them down to size 2! And then they will pose no threat!

    An almost PERFECT Strategy (CHEATING!)

Cheating is for woosies. I have no will to cheat. I think cheaters should be shot. There is nothing worse than a cheater, except maybe culture-flipping AI civs.

    Early Game Aggression Tactic v1.0

Or strategery, as Bush would say. I might be wrong about this, haven't done any extensive research, but a few times this tactic has come in handy. The Early Game Aggression Tactic v1.0: Presumptions: 1) The AI is not a complete cheater & trigger-happy (easy-medium levels, not when...

    Too Old to play

It is even more wicked when you go head-to-head with people of the same age group as your parents or your teachers - shows that experience is does not always take the cake!

    Having major trouble with battles.

GerrardCapashen - words of wisdom about the immunity system. As far as my advice to Crispy129 - don't start wars unless you know you can win. It is great that you think you have a bigger AND better army than your opponent, but in real life the US can't attack say Latvia and not lose one...

    Razing a City

Though I would mostly agree with MajorFallout, and i do feel that within the concept of CIV3 city-razing is a key element to prevent fliping, retaking and other stuff, but i feel that this is a little off balance with the real world. I think that it would be great, if we could exterminate...

    Civ3 GOTM #13 Results

But still, as I look at the scores of gotm13, i see that the top10 spots have been taken by guys who finished in 2050. Smells like a little point milking, or whatever it's called. I mean the people who play to conquer should be treated differently than the ones who maximize their happiness and...

    Missing stuff: grouping, naming

WildFire444, for real? See i didn't know that. I was hoping such an option existed. Thanx, dude. If it works, i owe you. BTW, BattleField 1942 is one cool game :)

    Missing stuff: grouping, naming

Oh ye, and another thing. Why can't units be renamed into something more sparlking? Like, instead of having 78 armor, you could have: Bravo Tank Group Church Tank Force Wicked Tank Group Tanks of Death and then 74 regular armor. That would be so fine... Or you could name them...

    Missing stuff: grouping, naming

I cannot understand why there is no such option as to group units in CIV3. It would be great if you could group a bunch of units into one block, coz then: 1) You could move them around quicker 2) You could protect your transports with battleships, and not have to mannualy move them around 3)...

    Strategic Resources

Well... I don't think it's unfair that all of the saltpepper is around one place, coz in real life some resources ar based in certain areas. Belgians aren't crying that they don't have oil or plutonium, they import it. The thing i hate is when some ****y civ has tons of oil but is to...
