Are you certain that bonuses apply only during the age they are acquired and do not persist through other ages? If so, if I may ask, where did you hear this?

The main thing I'd like to see is more info pages on each Civ (like what was done with Cleo and Genghis) talking about unique units and powers, etc.

I was also experiencing the same OOS issue after every 10-15 turns when playing on a LAN with one other person. We both uninstalled and reinstalled and went at least 200 turns in a new game with no problems.

The Great Wall's effects work for all your cultural borders on the continent that it's built on. The wall graphic is just that -- a graphic. This includes keeping barbarians out as well as the double xp earned for battles won vs. enemy civs inside your own borders.

1) Once you've built the Great Wall, you get double xp for any battles inside your cultural borders (not just inside the wall itself).
2) The free upgrade doesn't mean free promotions. The Warlord unit itself will not cost any gold to upgrade to the next more advanced unit, such as...
The difference in wording is "+100% Attack vs. Axemen" instead of "+100% vs. Axemen".
In the screenshot below, an unpromoted Axemen is attacking an unpromoted Chariot. Notice the Axeman has nearly 75% chance to win...

As far as I can tell, the only counter to the Conquistador (until Grenadiers / Rifles / Cavs) is the War Elephant, which is typically rare to see. Having never used Spain, but thinking about doing so in my next game, I'm curious to know if I'm missing something that would keep their UU from...
