As Feedback I want to say this Mod rocks!
Haven't been part of the scenery for a while (for few years) but back in the day thought Civ 3 mod about Colonization would have been neat. Then when Civ IV: Colonization came out, I wasn't totally pleased since it felt like something was missing...
Maybe, but isn't it each customers own thing to decide what they should expect from product they have bought?
Or do we have already "acceptable standard" for bugs in the gaming industry?
They aren't actual bugs but they are flaws if the game is in imbalance.
You can dance with the facts for...
To be perfectly clear, the answers being given by pro-Civ 5 people are also in the same manner.
You take one example of some little feature not being bug and then call it settled?
Actually maybe you should start reading MORE of this ccomplains, glitches, flaws and criticism to...
Capitalistic in the worst sense. From the heart to the bone.
They lie and cheat in their marketing and then they do crap and then sell it on a fancy box.
Then there are people who try to explain to paying customers how someone sells crap in a fancy box or like these customers should be somehow...
IF I would payed for that game THEY SHOULD PREY that their customers like me are so patient with them.
How selfish from a customer to wait actual finished product and not some unfinished crap from selfish greedy little piggies.
They can swim in their own filth for all I care.
I bet...
Lurker
Well, I must say that Firaxis' decisions also considering graphics in general are all over the board. Roads are just one piece of this unsolvalable puzzle.
At the same time graphics are supposedly to be"better" than in Civ IV but I think land units don't look that good (especially since...
Good idea.
So instead of posting what you love about the game (like critic like myself already did), you just decided to post sniffy and totally unwitty remark about whole community yourself. :crazyeye:
Were the small brushes already sold and only things left where the large ones?
Lurker You are rolling through this one like a tank, sorry, whooshing it like flying tank.
Hezuz, how helpless is the AI. Or are you just so miraculously superior players? ;)
Isn't this exactly what I was talking about?
Yes, the question is different but the results are very similar and the real question is can we draw enough lines and find similarities between them so we can conclude that in fact they reinforce the conclusions (60-40)? That's what I was saying...
Well, if you look it closely...
in both polls about 40% don't enjoy Civ V and think it's the worst Civ ever.
It's not that far-fetched that they might be closer as polls than you at first think.
Do you believe in any business leaving ~40% unsatisfied customers is really a good thing?
Unless the...
Well, I liked this poll. Very straightforward with question that leaves little for imagination or speculation.
I have thought about some "rate Civ V" (0-5) poll in this forum though. There was one already...but difference would be that it would give note to people that how they rate the game if...
For me it really doesn't make a difference if those 18,000 are really enjoying while playing.
I didn't speculate why so high number but more in line how many might enjoy it really.
Who knows, it might be 50,000 in a month. ;)
Personally I would like to have some decent figures how many...
Well, there's a weak argument.
Critics of the game are complaining (whining in your language) about the game. Some people are then crying and moaning just about these people.
It's strawman to call then out if you just whine all the time about other posters while some say you are...
I wouldn't be so sure about that enjoyment factor.
The games in Civ V as you know take long and it's really hard to define how much some outsider enjoys/likes the game in general.
Also when person have bought the game they don't really have to be masochist in order to play game they try their...
Some things but they have also downside them because of bad execution / AI.
+ Hexes (also with new system of culture spread)
+ 1upT (as an idea, not sure does the scale fit to this type of game along with other problems)
+ Some Graphics
+ Limited strategic resources
+ City states
These all...
