Hm ok, thanks for the offer, but it seems this whole issue is a bit too much for me
Aside from the Worldeditor, i think I don't know any other ways to place a worker on a peak.
Thanks for your answers!
@Leoreth: I'ver never done any dll-compiling, I think it's a bit to complex for me :crazyeye:
@Nightinggale: Yes, only the bonus-trade is important for me. In fact, it's not so important how it could be implemented, only the result that I can trade through or above the...
Hi everybody :wavey:
Im currently playing a scenario from the Fall from Heaven 2 Mod (scenario - Wages of Sin) and because there are enemies between me and my allies (with always war on) I would like to know if there is a way to edit something so that I can either trade through air (via...
Hi!
After a long pause, I’ve recently started playing Civ4-Colonization again.
However, I like to tweak around with some game mechanics and I wonder if anyone can tell me, if it is possible to mod the game so that some nations start with certain founding fathers? (e.g. the Dutch start...
Thanks for the answer, but I think I found the problem.
After deactivating the Norton Internet Security i could save without problems (my operating system is xp). Because I was saving and loading alot, maybe the antivirus-program thought it was some kind of problem :)
Hi,
I've got a strange problem that hasn't happened to me before. At the moment I'm playing a Civ3-Conquests Mod (TAM - the ancient mediterrean) and when I want to save it doesn't create a save-file. The strange thing is that at the beginning of a game I can save, but some turns later (about 50...
Although I posted the same issue in the "Mulcarn reborn"-thread (from the ffh2 scenarios), I thought it would be more appropriate to post it here in the modding-section.
I really liked the mechanic of switching to the weakest (or second weakest if you are last) teammember every 40 turns. Can...
I know it's been quite a while since the post I quoted, but since I recently played this scenario, I thought it would be fun to try the above mentioned mechanic also in other games out.
Does anyone know how to implement this? Is it difficult?
Oops, I meant the "CIV4BuildingInfos"-file :)
And yes, I want to change the warweariness of all the civs (I thought editing all the palaces is one way to achieve that), because in those huge 5v5 games the war weariness climbs up a little bit too fast.
Hi guys,
I've got a question. I want to change the war weariness (for the whole civ not just the city) that you receive from the palace (I like those huge 5v5 games) and since I don't have Excel2007 I can't use the FFH2-editor.
I looked a bit around in the FFH folder and I found in the XML...
Same with me here. With patch e (both computers with XP) I had 4 games with no OOS (except when I switched to play hyborem, but that was resolved after exiting the game and loading it again).
But with patch h I got those OOS pretty often.
With patch e I never had any OOS errors (played 3 whole games from beginning to end). But with patch h I had some OOS errors, even a repeatable one. When I switched to God King and Apprenticeship on turn 2 the error appeared (I gave myself a few great sages so that I can summon hyborem earlier)...
Will the worldspell "divine retribution" of the mercurians also be changed?
In all of my 0.30 games (5-6 games yet), Hyborem got killed due to this spell.
Or will there be a change that units with the immortal promotion won't be affected by it?
