There might be another hidden unit from a civilization your not at war with in one of the cities. Like if you wanted to nuke Greeks but there was a russian spy in their town, it won't let you nuke it. Odd programing quirk.

Are you kidding me? BTS had major changes to the base game. With 4's espionage you could cripple an entire country, render entire cities defenseless, win entire wars with nothing but espionage. It changed the entire way navies functioned with stealth ships, nuclear subs with tactical nukes, ect...

Intresting. All 7 of the civs I was against, Austria included, had atleast 4-8 cities each. Not one of them had left their holy city. AI bug then? Who knows

Tom also seemed to miss mentioning that the AI is basically brain dead when it comes to religion, they never spread it. Ever. They don't even use religious units. My test game was a Diety game vs 7 other civs and not one of the competeing faiths spread their religion out of their founding city...

What improvements was he ignoring, he mentioned every thing they added and how they affected the game, this isn't a overhaul to the core of the game like BTS was for Civ4, this is just a few tacked on features that you can easily sumrise and thumbs up or down.

After playing G&K for a few hours, I agree with most of the review religion is badly implemented here in both creation and execution, as for espionage I have mixed feelings, its not worse or better, its just different. I'm happy I played it at the expensive of someone else, I wouldn't recommend...
