Multipolarity II - Game Thread

*stamps* Consider it done.

Russia

Russia accepts the trade pact with The Republic.
We hope it will lead to prosperity to all our countries in the future!

The Empire of the Formatting Crew accepts the trade offer from the Republic. Thank you to Republic and thank you to Bold.

Standardising Cultural Bonuses as follows:

50 points - Secretary General
25 points - Olympics host
25 points - World Bank Chair
10 points - Resolution sponsorship
10 points - Successful resolution (if sponsor)
5 points - Largest in: GDP; Population; Industry; Land Forces; Naval Forces; Air Forces; Land Power; Naval Power; Air Power; Trade Tech
5 points - Being on winning side of narrow resolution vote

(Power is a measure of number * tech; this also allows players to attempt to guess how far behind they are in the arms race)

Debate on resolutions also incurs points. Aye/nay doesn't really do much, but giving justifications and arguments certainly will.

Culture being the primary arbiter in peaceful clientisation and random coups flipping to you, these points can be particularly useful to you. Culture naturally grows some each turn as well, however, so as to keep those without luck or minimal investment from falling too far behind.

Adding this to the ruleset for future reference.

"Catalonia?" The President asked "Remind me again; where exactly IS Catalonia?"
"Iberia, on the Mediterranean side." McCoolname informed him, not particularly suprised to be questioned on the location of such a far-away nation.
"We weren't planning to invade them anytime soon were we?" The President asked wryly.
"Not that I recall, no."
"Then I don't see why not, go ahead and sign it."
"Understood, I'll get right on it" McCoolname ended the call and signed the document in front of her. Another simple and easy decision, made quickly and efficiantly. If only all her job was like that...

The Bengali Republic Accepts.

Nueva Brasil accepts the offer of the people of Catalonia.

NB also offers Catalonia an alliance.
We feel it would be for the greater good of both our nations to ally, seeing as how your country also speaks Spanish, and we need some allies in these dark times.

What is Spanish. :p

Spoiler :
Warning! The following may not be canon or follow MP's storyline.
Found somewhere in Brazilian archived computer files...
The year is unremembered, but the Cataclysm has just occured. The survivors of the Cataclysm in Brazil are the only humans left around, at least locally. There are rumors that some humans are left in Peru far away to the west, but no-one dares leave the ruined, mixed-up cities.
The head leader, Omar, prepares to unite the survivors in Buenos Aires with survivors from around the country. His journey to many small villages has netted us a large group of followers, but we can't shake the feeling... Data corrupted.
We are voting on whether or not to form a new republic in Brazil tomorrow. The council has already voted to found a new city, New Buenos Aires, out in the middle of our known borders. The city was built on top of a large cache of food.
Data corrupted ...the U.N. is discouraging us from forming a nation, telling us that it's not feasible or intelligent to form such a nation. We have had many disagreements and this is the final vote. Tomorrow will decide the fate of our people.
