"Such a poor state of humanity" muttered Carter to herself, unaware that Dr. McKay had entered the room to hand over the experimental data about ion hyper thrusters to Carter.

"What are you talking about?" asked McKay with his usual face of disdain and sadness for not being the Head of the Scientific Division.

"As you are aware McKay, SGC managed to stay in the 21st century because we were within the quarkgenetic field after Dr. Lee messed up with the Ancient time machine. Being a secret American agency, we had ,and still have thanks to being unaffected, access to files from the Internet. What really caught my eye was a story about a Greco - German family going through indeed peculiar misadventures, that I however can not comprehend to my dismay. I have reasons to believe that this is encrypted Goa'uld code, but I have not managed to decode it" she explained while showing to McKay her terminal screen with a tab open.

"Here, let me see" Replied Dr. McKay while looking at the screen.

After a while, McKay had finished reading the text all over the terminal screen and was as perplexed as Carter regarding the meaning of the text.

"Interesting. The terminal is not giving any strange energy indications." he said while he was scanning the computer for any signs for strange energy indications, which could very well be an indication of an alien virus. "What makes you believe that the family is a mix of Ancient Greeks and Germans?" he asked, as he began questioning his own sanity because of the text.

"Well, if you look closely at the title, you will see that the family has the German prefix of "von", while one of the characters is named "Kaiser". Meanwhile, there is also the letter "Omega" which is not part of any Latin - influenced European alphabet, but rather of the Greek one, as Dr. Jackson told me earlier." replied Carter to McKay's question.

"Hmm that is interesting. Can you check for any links this might be connected to, like a military or espionage communications channel? This might gives a clue on how to decode it, like what the "Omega" and "Kaiser" characters are symbolically connected to." said McKay, thinking it was a brilliant idea.

"I have already done that, and the most peculiar of all things is this: the text file connects me to a 21st century forum called "Off - topic Empires". Now I have thought about this, but I could not connect the two as for it to make any sense. Could you help me?" asked Carter, feeling helpless as to how to connect the two clues.

"Hold on, I think I have a brilliant idea!" shouted McKay while he was leaving. As he did that, he bumped into a person that he did not have time to identify. "Indeed", a voice could be heard in the distance.

After some hours had passed, McKay had called for a meeting with General Landry, the top members of the Scientific Division and SG - 1.

"So, in this context, it makes sense. "Off - topic Empires" is a symbol for an interstellar empire that does not fit into the general context of the Milky Way, something like the Ori we faced a few years ago. "Kaiser" is German for Emperor, while "Omega" could very well be a transliteration of "Final" for this alien code that we are facing. Seeing as the two characters are in relationship perhaps it is the Final Emperor, someone that would possibly rule forever with the help of advanced technology. The Greek part of the family are the Goa'uld, who ruled in Ancient Greece and formed the first Jaffa regiments, while the German part is for the Asgardians." explained enthusiastically McKay to the personell present in the meeting.

"Are you suggesting that 31st century Earth has been infiltrated by the Goa'uld, Dr. McKay?" asked General Landry.

"That is imporpable. The Goa'uld never refferred to anyone as an Emperor, while it would not make sense for them to include the Asgardian race in their code. No, it is something even better. I believe, my friends, that we have a new enemy in our hands. An ancient Empire that ruled over both the Goa'uld and the Asgardians." answered McKay.

"Well, do we have any indication that would help us find the alien infiltrators" asked General Landry.

However, while browsing the forums, I could not help but notice that the word that kept popping up was "Genocide" and "Soviet". Perhaps they lust for authoritarianism and wish to re - populate Earth with their race." said the unsure McKay.

News of the alien infiltrators had spread fast and everywhere within the Stargate Command, and as such everyone was panicking. What was this new species and how could they possibly defeat them if they don't know anything about them?

General Landry had called for a meeting with SG - 1 and the top minds of the Scientific Division regarding the situation, hoping that he could calm the personnel while also setting the foundations for the first intel searches on these aliens.

"Gentlemen" he said as the meeting began " I have called this meeting with the hope that we can find more information about this Off - topic Empire. I would also like to inform you that Stargate Command is at a state of caution regarding these infiltrators, so if one of them should be discovered, he is to be immediatly captured and brought here for interrogation. As for the research being done on them, Dr Carter and Dr McKay will try and forcefully enter into these alien accounts in order to discover cruical data through this mysterious "PM" function, while Dr. Jackson and Dr. Kleinmind will investigate the encrypted posts and threads in the archived forums, with the goal in mind being finding the decryption key. You are all dismissed." And with that, the meeting came to an end, and everyone began working on their goals for finding the alien menace.

Dr. Jackson and Dr. Kleinmind were reviewing the archived material for what must have been a couple of hours. Jackson was analysing his theory about the various transliterations of the user names when he, together with Kleinmind, would discover the manevolent influence of these apocryphal texts.

"This user for example, he must be the Emperor of Earth, also known as Terra in the language of the Lanteans, hence the name. Meanwhile, this user here must be a genetic hybrid of a bird and a feline species. However, this user makes me believe that we are facing an interstellar and multicultural empire, for while he is a hybrid of these two species, something that would be considered abonimable in most other space races, here he is the one that creates the rules of conduct, hence the title "Super Mod"." explained Dr. Jackson, unsure about the opinions of his colleague.

"Look at this guy, he is a German Doctor working in the court of Neo - Babylonian madmen. Kek" replied Dr. Kleinmind.

"Umm what did you say?" Asked Jackson.

"Eh, I just said that I find this specific occurrence funny. What is so peculiar about it?" answered Kleinmind, seemingly hurt by Jacksone's words.

The characteristic sound of a Lantean stun gun, an energy weapon commonly seen in Stargate Command, could be heard. Jack O' Neill and Teal'c were both ashamed in that they had to stun one of their own people, despite the fact that this was common procedure in case of infiltration. But what was out of the ordinary in this one was that the stun gun had seemingly no effect, except from calming Kleinmind. Kleinmind, calm and euphoric because of his new - found intelligence now, turned to O'Neill and Teal'c, raised his hands to his shoulders and exclaimed "it is a mystery!" before he was shoot many more times and finally stunned.

"What is going on!?" screamed anxiously Carter as he was running with McKay to the scenery. Both were obviously dissapointed and struck by the whole ordeal, as an infiltration of the Cheyen Mountain Bunker has not happened for many years. It could not have been an ascended alien ,like last time Anubis had infiltrated the base, as all of Zeus Systems was equipped with ascension sensors. No, it was something far worse.

"I... am not exactly sure" answered Jackson, who was being honest.

Everyone involved in the incident went into General Landry's office for a briefing, except from Kleinmind, who was taken into solitary confinement and was guarded by 2 soldiers as per SGC protocols. General Landry was briefed about the situation and while speechless, he had not been conviced about the innocence of Dr, Jackson.
