House Caterpillar is determined to make Noyyau the strongest nation in the world. Lead by Felix Wilhelm von Caterpillar, this house wants the Noyyau to not waste time with so many wars all the time, but instead focus energy on one nation to take while also building up the interior.

It seems I'll have to make a coat for me as well. But I won't do it now, I think it's still too early to adopt a coat of arms, that's why I did that shadowy image.

BTW, nice animation CK, where did you take that from? / how did you do that?
 
It isn't the best it could have been but it was two in the morning and I didn't care :p I made that, I'll post the tutorial in a little while.

Our glorious house does not oppose militancy, it instead preaches for more focus on internal improvements and expansions. Unlike your barbarous house.

Easy fellow noblemen, let us not stray from our path. The Kingdom needs us. We must show our rivals our force through battle and war, but we also need to focus on our internal development for growth. No state may prosper without internal development and external control. Let us do both ;)

After a consultation of the major Noyyau Houses, envoys were exchanged with the neighboring Picts, establishing formal diplomatic relations.

With the King's approval, Noyyau traders met with their Mali and Bulgarian counterparts in Pictish border towns, the most popular export being Noyyau alcoholic beverages.

In Caledonii, the Pictish capital, the Noyyau envoys met with some foreigners of a peculiar nation that called itself the Great Siamese Kingdom. After establishing cordial relations, the Siamese expressed their interest in purchasing some workers from the domains of the Noyyau, to evaluate their capabilities. After hearing how much the Siamese were willing to pay, the closest cadre of slave Workers were quickly sent on their way to parts unknown.

In the north, the containment strategy against Spanish colonization of the area continued, seemingly effective.

Establishing a modus operandi that would remain conceptually unchanged for centuries to come, the Invasion of Iran began with the conquest and razing of Ahvaz, the latest Iranian attempt at expanding towards Noyyau borders.

The Ringhio Forest Fort garrison spotted Iranian Scouts wandering where they shouldn't have.

The eastern Explorer, traversing the now depopulated former Czech domains, spotted the last remnant of the Czech nation.

Evading the Noyyau patrols, the Spanish tried to sneak towards more hospitable lands, attempting to stake their claim in the still unsettled area.

After almost a generation, Noyyau warriors with murderous intent once again approached Tabriz.

Meanwhile, in the forests west of Ringhio, what the Noyyau thought were simple barbarians had moved along the road to civilization, conquering a neighboring village and declaring themselves to be the Malagasy City State.
Despite not really considering these upstarts to be a threat, the Ringhio garrison was nonetheless strengthened.

The Spanish settlers were ultimately threatened to return north, or face unspecified “consequences”.

As a gesture of friendship, surplus Corn was sold for discount prices to the Picts, to help them sustain their growing population.

The troops in the north were confused. After having spent so much time playing cat-and-mouse with the Spanish, an order came from Noyyau to engage and enslave the would-be settlers.
Why did the order come only now? The messenger could only shrug and suggest some disagreement between the King and one of the High Caste Houses, but when did the higher-ups ever explain anything to those below them?
Theirs not to reason why.

For the first time in Noyyau history, Catapults were used in siege warfare. Noyyau commanders were actually surprised at their effectiveness in opening breaches in Tabriz's city walls, as the only time the Noyyau had sustained a siege against such machines, the Latvians using them had preferred to bombard the defenders inside Ringhio, rather than the city's fortifications.

The eastern Explorer, having been ordered to move closer to Spanish borders, was suddenly attacked after hostilities began, but they managed to overpower the aggressors with minimal losses.

The last Spanish escorts fell to Noyyau pikes, but by that time the Settlers had already escaped towards their homeland.
When news reached Noyyau, a representative of House Greek lodged a formal complaint to the King, lamenting the inefficiency of having to obtain approval from the King for every military action, resulting in wasted time and lost opportunities.

In his old age, the King did not really care about starting another new war, finally acconsenting only after much pressure from House Greek, supported by House Spirictum.
As his final action before returning to the spirits, King Cid Raynor, the first of his name, wanted to expand the dominion of the Noyyau, occupying the lands that had been conquered so many years before.
Wark was founded near the Latvian Fort, to set in stone the Noyyau claim for the territory.

At the same time, another settling party cautiosly approached the Tabriz area, staying close to some troops moving towards the frontline for protection.

Before the northern troops could chase the escaping Spanish Settlers, the Explorer reported that the Spanish were organizing a large force, to probably protect their Settlers. Even if the Spanish civilians could be caught, the Spanish would quickly react and overwhelm the few Noyyau troops that could reach the Settlers before they escaped.
Once again, when such news reached the capital, emissaries of House Greek grew even more vocal about the “complete farce” that the war against Spain was turning into.
The King did not even bother to respond. His son, Prince John, reported that his illustrious father had taken ill and could not be disturbed.
Many among the increasingly dissatisfied High Caste Nobles began muttering among themselves about the King's growing disinterest in governance of his own Kingdom.

Your Majesty,

With a deep connection to the spiritual world, House Spirictum offers the Crown experienced druids to host the rites of passage to the afterlife for the deceased monarchs. The Royal Family deserves the best care in such situations, and House Spirictum believes it's the best to accomplish that.


The war against the spanish is supported by House Spirictum. An alliance with the Latvians against the Spanish is a wise move. If we can put both at war, and assure neither of them die, we will have 2 weak neighbors, instead of a powerful one.

Now about the South we need more attention. The Picts are becoming considerably strong. But we have 2 buffer states between us: The Iranians and the Malagasy. House Spirictum believes that both nations should serve us better by being turned into our puppets instead of dead. If a war happens between us and the Picts, the fight won't happen in Noyyau territory, but rather in these pitiful nations' territory.

OOC: BTW, how many years have been passing each update? I ask that to see if I can bother to create a specific character for my house, or if I keep rping it as a house without a specific leader.
