Americas:
UNITED STATES PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS OF 1924: Washington D.C, USA: President Johnson is at the end of his term and the elections are on the horizon. The three main candidates are Miles Poindexter of the Progressive Party, James Cox of the Democratic Party and Calvin Coolidge of the Republican party. The Progressive party still dominated the scene in a majority of the state, however many surprises arose from the election, including the 100+ Electoral votes of James Cox. Coolidge did not fair so well and came in last with only two states carried. Miles Poindexter wins the election by a substantial margin and holds onto the White House for his party.
MEXICAN ELECTIONS HOLD GROUND FOR CENTRALISTS: Mexico City, Mexico: The Centralists party managed to hold the presidency for another term with plans to increase the industrial sectors of the poorer regions and bring higher living standards and jobs.

(Minarchist Government, +2 IC)
QUEBEC IN POLITICAL SHIFT: Quebec City, Quebec: Years of leftist rule have left a void for the right in Quebec, which has just begun to show prominently. Major aeronautics industries in Montreal begin to complain about business taxes and threaten to move to the US or Caribbean. Even under these complaints the industrial giant founded by Felicio Hernandez, officially known as Fernand Industries has opened new automobile factories in Quebec City. (+1 IC)
WAR IN SOUTH AMERICA!: Bairdstown, La Plata: Fascist leaders of La Plata have mobilized after so called military actions of Peru caused tensions to rise and war to break out. War propaganda spreads through the nation and reaches nearly everyone via state run newspapers and causes a massive jump in recruits to put down the threatening Peruvians. (+30,000 Infantry) Over 200,000 soldiers began an invasion of Peru in March which proved to be a fast and destructive campaign. By this time the war effort had been turned to freeing the Paraguayans from the unlawful rulers in Lima, but many abroad and in Brazil knew this to be a scam on the people. None the less the war progressed, with the final major defeat for the offensive taking place in Arequipa, where the superior forces of the Platian army defeated a larger force of Peruvian defenders. Death tolls were estimated to be around 90,000. Platian diplomats are meeting with Peruvians ones in attempts to gain a favorable peace before the Brazilians make a move. Nothing has come of it yet as the troops wait for further orders. (-1 IC Peru)

Back on Britain, things calm down as the new propaganda wave and secret police scare or convince people to settle down and wait out the crisis. Many go missing suspiciously. The military is reorganized so less loyal officers are moved aside entirely for pro-fascist ones, sometimes less qualified. Many soldiers flee to France when word of their protest of this gets out. In Ireland, British police and soldiers begin using gases on crowds and anger the population even more, cries for freedom echo around the world as everyone watches the British Empire fall off its pedestal.
