NWolfNES I: The Greenskins, home edition

the sickness may be among the loot... perhaps something is cursed.

The shamans should be given a chance to look over and inspect the items.

the sickness may be among the loot... perhaps something is cursed.

Would explain why almost everyone who participated in combat is sickened.

I'm sorry for creating confusion.
@Abaddon and others
LOOT

Everyone who participated in battle (and risked their lives) are free to pick TWO items from loot. Rest of the loot will be shared between other fighters and village. Village supplies are for everyone to be used and leather armor can be reused as many times by as many different orcs as possible. Owning personal armor means you'll carry and practice more often with it, as well as it can save your life in woods.

Once you guys pick what you want, 60% of loot will be removed and rest will be put into village supplies. Unless overseer wants to share some of the loot with commoners (that would increase popularity of some orcs), leftover will be added into village property and is free to be used by everyone.

Why not ask the craftsmen to make bowls for you? The odds of your character making a useful bowl out of metal scraps with no training in this NES are about the same as the odds of Ugag becoming the next Shakespeare.
And how hard could that be? :mischief:

They are scraps of metal. If I fail to make anything, it's still scrap metal. How can I gain skills without the basic materials?

If you fail to make anything out of those scraps, you may lose few units of scraps. You may always ask crafters to craft you something - they will craft and repair stuff for villagers always. And you are a villager. If you say, help them out (carry stuff to them and do other simple work) they are willing to help you out for free. You might even learn some crafting. Learning basic crafting is required to learn basic metalsmithing, of course you guys need a smith(person), anvil and furnace for that.

I propose the coinage be distributed evenly among the whole village to pay for families of the fallen and give the immortals an equal amount to begin with. (This should be something to start bartering with)
We all know how we love using borrowed books or reusable items - their quality sucks. Besides owning stuff makes your orc feel more 'proud'. Imperial Coins are different from Clan Coins that are Different from Tauren Coins that are Different from Undead Coins (if there are any). Also I'd recommend you guys to keep these coins in village inventory to trade with caravan that comes from Bloodoak clan next turn. (assuming it arrives). Trade rate of imperial coins to clan coins is 0,75.

Would explain why almost everyone who participated in combat is sickened.

Mostly soldier but many commoners are sick. I'd like to point out that many soldiers and commoners who stayed behind in village (did not participate in battle) are sick too.

This action saved Gurtaks life, but made Ugags life very … interesting?
Janus was one of the 2 Secondary commanders. As you can probably guess legion heroes are equal to veterans and Secondary Commanders are rank above veterans.

Ugag fought with Janus but Janus was stronger than Ugag and managed to knock Ugag out when wrestling. Thankfully Ugag was not killed. Janus was (partially) responsible for death of Gorrik and he also threw Gurtak into center of the Battlefield. Stopping Janus from taking over control (due wrestling match with Ugag) was one the reasons why battle went so well for you - your commanders could order trained warriors to help out wherever it was needed. Of course, most of the battle was still unorganized masses fighting but still...

gobbies need shinies

Thanks for the clarifications NW! Why can't we carry the rest of the loot back with us?

Goblins already took their part of the loot.
~60% of loot will go to as war spoils - you are no different from commoners and many of them want items of their own too. Leftover is added into village inventory, unless you guys want to give away some battle spoils.

Update 5
part two

All immortals who took part of the battle gained 2 respect among military faction and 1 respect and low fame. Overseer Stoll gains 2 fame - being leader and all... Warchief Ugag gains extra 1 fame, 3 followers and personal battle banner.

Maxwell gains thanks to his heroic deeds and leadership, a special 'battle axe' named "Cruxbane".

Spoiler :

Ugags banner (Hbar you may want to find a better banner pic or give me an image to mix with some banner image (hence creating an unique banner)

Ugag, after waking up among his fallen and wounded comrades and then dealing with most urgent matters in hand, kept his promise and carried big rocks from central square to builders area. There supplies were scarse and Ugags “modern art” was put into good use. Ugag gains respect among builders faction.

“Hero” Maxwell, despite of several wounds and sickness (He caught it too) attempted to plant flax seeds. Field he dug and seeds he planted are no where as good as Healthy farmer could do, but most seeds seemed to grow well.

Despite wounds and sickness, Gaarth managed to keep his nickname of Ladies Man. It comes out that his last follower also got pregnant and now all of his 4 followers are pregnant. They will all give birth by next winter. Follower who had practiced with him before battle and fought on battlefield also caught sickness. One of the local crafters was seen visiting her more often than it's normal for an orc to visit sick females. What're Gaarth followers up to?

Luke, one of the local immortals who played important part in Battle of Many Broken Bones (and emerged as hero!) dedicated his free time to help Holy Wind to build their shrine. Holy Wind priests were very happy that battle hero himself helps them. Luke did not do much work but many young orcs helped out Sacred Wind followers too (if famous people help them out then why should'nt I?). Holy Wind gains "Wind Shrine" on the foot of Mountain of Horrors. Holy Wind gains followers and is somewhat present in the Village of Gor' (followers numbers increased to 20-30). Luke gains respect of Holy Wind faction. Luke gains 2 followers.

What missionaries claim to see when they spend time praying at the shrine.

A large storm is described in farmers section in part III.

Whatever this storm was dirceted by Raj-Tol or not, immortal called Shurzurn gained quite a bit from this storm. As he was not sick nor did he choose to honor orcish ways and attack humans, he often wandered off to gather wood for builders. Day after storm he went to see how much damage this storm did. As he walked into heavly damaged bosk and managed to saw old weatherd bag, what would have been impossible to notice before the storm. This bag contained, Chain mail mail armor and helmet with horns. However it seems this bag had been there quite a few years and most leather parts of chain mail and helmet were gone and should be replaced before they become usable. Shurzurn gains (Damaged) Iron Chain Mail and (Dam) Iron Helmet (Med, Horned) .

After finding that valuable stuff, Shurzurn worked very hard while helping builders, infact so hard that he gains one follower and increases his social standing among builders faction to low (2).

Shurzurn was not the only immortal who decided to skip fighting battle and focus on more earthly needs – Magog also was helping out builders. He did not have that huge motivation to work with builders as Shurzurn had, but never the less he did quite a bit of good quality work. All this heavy lifting and building increase Magog strength and he even gains some lowly respect among builders faction.

While some orcs were fighting, Xialo caught food to feed the wounded and sick. So heled fishermen up the river again and this time fishing income was quite a bit higher than during winter. Guess fish love that spot. Xialo gains respect among Fishermen and is now considered to like every other fisherman and like all factions, fishermen tend to stick together in tough times. Xialo also gains 25% of Advanced fishing.

Xialos follower, “the teeny girl” spent quite a bit of her time among miners and she become a full fledged miner. She now knows as much as other miners about mining.

After the Battle of Many Broken Bones, despite of many dead and wounded local improvised training grounds were in constant use. Both immortals and commoners, convinced that they must get stronger and faster practiced and trained. Alas, many of those who trained but had been part of the raid before showed signs of sickness and training fell short for most of them.

Gurtak Strongfist was one of those immortals who did go to raid but due to lack of fighting skill did not do so well. While Gurtak was training, other trainees could hear Gurtak whispering by himself. His whispers were simple: "Must get stronger ... must get stronger ... must be braver". After few days of hard training (and whispering), Gurtak collapsed upon one training and was dragged to hut what was quickly remade to house the wounded. Despite of short training, Gurtak managed to learn basic fighting. Gurtak is sick.

Sick orc is not a nice sight

Xialo – one of those immortals, who decided that battle is not place for them to be, was also training on training grounds, but his training was cut rather short as he was forced to spend most of his training time dragging sick back to the sick hut and tending them. Xialo did not get sick from taking care of soldiers.

Magog, immortal with similar behaviour to Xialo (avoided battle) attempted to train too. However as training grounds and archery range was full when Magog wanted to practice, he was forced to practice further away in woods. He trained together with Lukes follower, who too did not fit into archery range. Training together, those two did quite well and both Magog and Lukes follower learned 50% of basic archery.

Aiken Drumn was seen gathering wild plants, berries and mushrooms in the forest. But Aiken was not special from ordinary orc. Ordinary orcs, of course, eat everything they pick up from the ground – Aiken did not want to be worse than ordinary orc, so ofcourse he took a bite or two. After returing to village he looked quite weird and village guards mistaked Aiken for great undead monster, so Aiken was forced to run back into woods. Aiken loses popularity among commoners. Some plants effected Aikens brain and Aiken loses one education point.

Wotepchu Broadhand's followers were often seen in woods gathering plants too. Their income was not high but they managed to gather good 2 units of healing herbs. They would have gathered more if they would have actually known difference between plants. But 2 units of healing herbs is better than none.

After several weeks of simply eating everything he found, Aiken finally returned to semi-normal self (I'm not going to describe all the locations were many hidden tumors and abscesses were). He then tried to impress village folk with jokes and games, but this was a big failure – most orcs had more wish to do everyday work and care for sick rather than watch some loonie running around. Aiken loses respect among commoners. //OOC: Sorry dude, you rolled one and two.

Immortal overseer of the Gor' attempted to learn Arts of Shamans. Stoll was quite ... demanding and finally shamans agreed to teach him the arts of "The Seeing Eye". However first few attempts Stoll did not go so well and when Stoll decided to study instead of helping the sick and sharing the loot well... Shamans got rather angry at overseer who tries to improve himself instead of doing is duties and Stoll lost 1 respect among Shamans. //OOC: Rolled two

Another immortal who dared to bother shamans was Wotepchu. Wotepchu offered himself into shamans service, just to prove his worth and shamans often used Wotepchu. Wotepchu was forced to clean sick and treat their wounds under watchful eye of shamans. And Wotpechu did what he was told... he did it well and earned respect among shamans faction. Wotepchu even sacrificed all of his healing helps to help those who were sick. He learned and memorized many things about orcish body and learned how to treat wounds, cuts and broken Bones. Shamans were glad that such a good student was helping them and freely passed their knowledge of medicine to Wotepchu. Wotepchu learns 50% basic medicine.

Wotepchu bartered his mushrooms with Cult of Fog and gained himself a shoulder bag (similar to the one Gaarth has). Great was Wotepchus surprise when Cult of Fog members started to say better things about him and even step up for his defense during evening arguments/fights. Wotepchu gains should bag. Wotepchu gains respect among Cult of Fog members.

After being forcefully removed from Shamans company, Stoll went to help out crafters – do see what he can do and how he can help. His help was greatly appriciated as much repairing, crafting and even polishing was needed to be done. Stoll worked rather hard and focused on crafting instead of studying with "stupid necromantic fools who do not know what's good for 'em" (phase stoll often mumbled by himself). On pluss side, Stoll managed to fix his Very poor quality leather torso to high quality torso. Stoll was so happy, that he ordered some loot to be given to crafters ... for hard work they must do, so he also earned some respect from Crafters. Nobody seemed to mind giving some of the loot to those who fixed much of it.

Stolls followers however left Stoll – they were fed up with Stolls behaviour and weak leadership. Just one out of 3 followers stoll had, decided to listen stoll's opinions. Stoll loses 2,5 followers and respect among commoners /ooc: rolled one

Gartog, one of the newer immortals, who recently appeared into village. He also had second memory loss – all immortals lost their memory when becoming immortals, but Gartog wandered out from woods and claimed he did not know anyone. Most think Gartog just ate too many mushrooms and is fit to join with Cult of Fog nutcakes. Gartog did not care of what others thought of him, he did not even care much for battle or wounded, instead he headed straight into woods.

However woods were rather empty of wild life (before the storm, that is described in farmers section) and Gartog spent rest of his time gazing sheep on pastures rather than trying to observe animals that are not there. Shepard commoners were careful around Gartog – who knows maybe this mushroom eater-memory deleter orc is simply "sheep-lover" and prefers poor sheep to say nice orcish female.... This story become a rumor that spread among commoners and soon Gartok lost respect among commoners. If we leave issues with Gartok and his reputation aside, he learned basic animal husbandry.

Emissary to Bloodoak clan

I believe Chill Bill can tell you more.

All this 'smooth talk' gives Chill Bill gains 'basic charisma' skill.

-----------------

TRADE CARAVAN

You have a chance to see your first trade caravan of The horde) by summer (next turn). Trade caravan operates in North Baimora and will visit you just after visiting Bloodoak Clan villages. After visiting Gor' it'll head to the North-West of you to trade with Goblins from Dimetrodon Clan.

Carvan will come carrying:
Tools, cloth (not items/clothing, just cloth and plant fiber) and few animals - most likely chickens, pigs and rabbits.

They say northern caravan always lacks salt, furs (and items produced out of fur), hops and related drinks, herbs, dried fish and much more, including crafts. Bloodoak clan is willing to pay for small statues representing Raj-Tol, they give Chill Bill few examples.

First time Trading is simple, most things are bartered for whatever you have (you mostly have leather, coins).

This trade caravan will also introduce you currency and your tribe will get their share worth of golds from The Horde mynt (currency/gold coins factory).

--------------------
Scar of Wind
High Priest cuts a small Raj-Tol symbol into shoulder of Raj-Tol follower. Blood that comes out from wound is gathered into a bowl. Follower will then carry this bowl to the shrine of Raj-Tol (what is located on a hill further away from town) and waits there until enough blood evaporates. Until the time (s)he only eats food and herbs that Raj-Tol priests bring to the follower. Most claim they see visions from Raj-Tol during this event.

Entire scarring process takes roughly 3 days (blood dries quite quickly) and leaves small scar visible on Raj-tol followers shoulder. Follower may not leave from the shrine before enough blood has evaporated. Priests say when enough blood has evaporated.

-------------------
There are rumors that Caravan Master (the one who shares money) gives some more money to those who tell him good stories - Caravan master will pay some extra gold to those who wrote stories in my NES or were simply more active than others (you for one).

--------------------------

Part 3 (factions success, changes and much more) + map coming tomorrow.

Wotepchu was quietly tending to an unconscious greenskin. Wotepchu had done his best to set the bones and applied a paste of herbs and mud to a gash in the passed-out greenskin's calf. It looked like he would probably live. Wotepchu reached into his pouch for some herbs. None of the individuals he was watching were in a critical condition, but he opted out of sleep just in case somebody started bleeding again. It was a long night, and a long day afterward.

When he was not trying to mend broken bodies, Wotepchu was the errand boy for the shamans. Lately, though, they had stopped ordering him to clean the same spot on the floor over and over again, and actually talked to him about spiritual matters. Wotepchu's silent manner almost offended one of the Shamans. They spoke to him and he just stared at the shaman.

"What you think about sickness?"

Shaman that questions Wotepchu Broadhand

Wotepchu blinked.. Was this shaman addressing him directly? And not just telling him to clean?
"What you think? Speak!"

Wotepchu was dumbfounded. He didn't think much lately, just hustle and fix broken greenskins.

"I... not know... It not like sick from mushrooms or dirty water."

"Mhmm. What you think? What make greenskins sick?"

"Maybe humans. Humans make people sick? Maybe human poison or magic? Or maybe crazy Raj-Tol greenskins. They act strange."

The shaman turned away from Wotepchu and spoke to him no longer.
Wotepchu felt like he had failed, and went back to tending the wounded.
After the sick ones were situated, Wotepchu would spend some quality time with a vine he had noticed in a tree near the sick house.

Fun-looking vine on tree!
One cannot abandon all luxurious herb-play for aiding the wounded greenskins, after all. Wotepchu rationalized it away, telling himself that it might be secret cure for any number of diseases or ailments.

just to be clear, Chill's second action, for those who don't know, was to visit the bloadoak clan with one of the missionaries as a guide. He found out about the caravan and partook in the religious ceremony (if it worked- i don't know?)...
And he told the caravan people to bring stuff like mining equipment and a big saw to set up a lumberyard. sorry, its all he could think of at the time. We can always order more stuff.

Gaarth looked around himself. Was he sick? Of course he was, only good orcs got sick. Since he wasn't sure what he wanted to do, he reflected on the battle.

Gaarth had a masterful plan for his portion of the battle, and it started off going great. He had appointed lieutenants in the veterans, Orcs who seemed to have a bit more sense, and made several highly-mobile attack groups. As he led the charge, Gaarth saw only two looks on the human heads, fear, and hatred. Initially he commanded that the hateful ones be killed first and then the cowardly ones.

If only his lieutenants would have thought the same way.

Gaarth's lieutenants thought the scared ones looked funny and decided to bring them back for the orc children as pets. This was not a good idea. It caused the orcs to attempt to wrestle and bind the humans when they were outnumbered. Many embarrassing wounds occurred from this strategy, and several lieutenants earned nicknames like "Bloodarse" and "Double-hole"

He also saw some orcs get taken by the weird sickness, including himself, further weakening the assault. "Good thing the gobbos came." Gaarth muttered to himself. He vowed to always be a good trading partner with those who saved the orcs.

Meanwhile his followers were all a-twitter with the fantastical joys of being pregnant at the same time, and being in a relationship with a battle-hardened orc like Gaarth. They knew Gaarth had designs for more than a simple village existence and that their children would learn the skills of greatness from birth onwards. They saw greatness in the future if only Gaarth would recover from the strange illness. Each follower prayed daily for Gaarth's infirmity to disappear.

Gaarth decided he should create something to unite his followers, so he called them to bring him several small coin-sized discs of wood cut from a green tree (to be easy for him to carve) and a gouge. Into the discs he carved the shape of the longsword he had taken from the humans. Then, using some charcoal, he darkened the carving. He gave one to each of his followers saying,

"This blade means you always welcome in Gaarth's house and house of followers of Gaarth. Always food, always shelter, so long as you know we always must fight to protect house of Gaarth. We stick together as family, if you want to bring orcs in, have them come see me so I can carve them a blade circle." Gaarth grew more serious, "When you see the circle presented, always give best deals in trades, always treat the other orc like you treat Gaarth." He smiled knowing that this would cause his clan to grow, because there was one difference in how Gaarth was treated compared to the other orcs.

He would let rumor circulate that Gaarth's power over the ladies may be obtained from Gaarth himself if one asked the right questions.

Update is coming either tomorrow or day after that.

I owe you guys an explanation for slow updating:
1) It's first week of the school
2) I'm getting kicked out from apartment I've been staying in
3) I'm chillin with friends (and a girl)

I have not lost interest in this NES and hope that none of you won't either. Again I'm sorry for very slow updating and hope that it is forgiven - I'm working as fast as I can, without making all this boring to me (what'd be bad). Sorry.

Gurtak would like to get 1 (med) short sword and 1 (Med) Iron chainmail from the loot.

btw, Northern Wold, shouldn't I now have 100% basic training? (had 50% last turn...)

No worries man, I can wait, the quality is worth it.

There's one more update coming, that'll include factions doings and stat changes.
Edit: Yes, you are correct.

OOC: What is with people and writing my username :crazyeye:

Good to know!

Thirded. The updates are coming fast and quick anyways by the typical NES standards, and I would rather have your amazing updates than a sub par update.

Update 5, Part I - Battle of Many Broken Bones
Update 5, Part II - Immortals doings

Update 5, part three
Factions doings

Builders

Builders managed to build 1 large house and 1 small house. Goblins built one medium house (that was converted into healing hut) for part of their loot. Builders and Workers seem to have busy days ahead, judging by the fact that many factions want their own buildings.

Village property
2 large sleeping houses (each designed to fit 50 orcs but can fit 80 orcs in times of need),
1 small sleeping house (each designed to fit 15-20 orcs, but can fit 40 orcs), used by Elders only. Stoll uses this house to sleep.
1 poor quality house that functions as granary + tool shed.
1 Small, poor quality Stockade (used for herding sheep).
+ Scary looking pikes, sharpened stick and sharpened bones around the village (to defend against bird creatures, but makes village look more "scary")
+ 1 large sleeping house, +1 medium Healing hut, +1 small house.
Spoiler :

What a small shepard hut would look like.

Hunters

Like last spring, hunters hunted wild boars and were semi successful. Boars had returned from their caves and many were seen fighting between themselves in forest. Despite of their poor health (plague) and lack extra help (they could have used few carriers), hunters still managed to bag several small boars. It's seems boar numbers have grown in those dark caves. Many wonder what they feed on during winter and how they survive in those caves, but no-one knows the answer or dares to go into caves to find it out. A butchers shop or tannery would be useful.

+food
+20 units of leather
-5 units of leather (due to rot, sunlight and low amounts of helpers)

Trap Line
Trap lines were rebuilt by only few commoners and hunters. Despite of lacking working hands, crafters had used cold winter to build many more traps. By the end of the springs most traps were working in semi-perfect order and netting regular income.

+ 15 units of leather
- 3 units of leather (due to rot, sunlight and/or lack of tannery)
+ Food
Spoiler :

Trap line works well at capturing small vermin and animals

Craftsmen
Craftsmen were rather busy as always – they valued loot, bartered with goblins (rather complicated and time-consuming task) and fixed quite a bit of broken stuff. They did well, but there's rumors that crafters own private crafting house could be useful and improve their work speed and quality. In addition, 5 commoners become crafters and one more of them joins Gaarths followers group. Crafters assume they'll be busy fixing and polishing damage loot, doing errands for clansmen (improve or fix my armor, plz!) and doing their normal stuff.
+ loot
+ 5 crafters
- 5 commoners

Spoiler :

Goblins and Gnomes have similar wish to gather gold, just goblins prefer to trade for gold while gnomes ... welllllllll... you know

Fishermen
Fishermen were lead by immortal Xialo again, who did rather well and earned his right to belong among fishermen. One of the younger fishermen using old and discarded bowls and baskets as fishing traps. Fishermen believe that with some experience, practice and help from both crafters and commoners they could build fishing traps improvement – it'd increase fishing income by a bit.

++ food
Spoiler :

Fishes are food. Food can be eaten. Orcs like fishes.

Woodcutters
Woodcutters should have had the worst time of their lives but mother nature (or Raj-Tol?) saved them. Tornado that carried a lot of fertilizer from sea to fields also tear down good amount of wood. As chopping dry wood and having it partially chopped by nature made this work quite a bit easier to the woodcutters. Many sick commoners slowed down the wood progressing process however (cutting logs into usable wood) and some believe that a sawmill would be useful for future.

Warriors
Most Warriors of Gor' are sick, many of the commoners who wanted to be warriors are sick too. Sickness that spreads seems to be similar to the one soldiers caught during winter – however most soldiers who caught this plague during winter were healthy again during summer, but caught sickness again after (or before?) Battle of Many Broken Bones. It is scary and very dangerous as no known cure seems to work on sick people – cannot treat magical plague as natural plague and that village is now, essentially, defenseless. Sick soldiers fight like sick soldiers. Many of them still say that if they would have proper training grounds not some muddy, dirty training area they could train better, assuming they get well in the future.

OOC: Plague effects are similar to modern STDs that destroy immune system, so simple cold can kill you.

+32 sick warriors
+16 sick commoners
+7 sick immortals (Chill Bill, Luke, Gaarth, Maxwell, Ugag, Gurtak, Maxwell).

Shamans
Shamans claim that whatever is “carrying” this plague is magical object or person. They claim that entire village of Gor' is filled with small particles of magical energy (why?!?!) that disturbs their search of single magical object (or person), that is spreading this plague to soldiers and many of the commoners. Some of them have also shown interest in having their own personal shamans hut(small house) to do their rituals in, they claim that this would give ability to predict future events.

Spoiler :

Is it a plant, human, ghost or something else that is causing this plague?

Farmers
Fields were cultivated and most seeds planted. Irrigation does quite good job and even tho having lower amount than usual of workers at their disposal, farms are doing rather well. They'd have done better if more commoners would be healthy. Farmers believe that farmers shed (small huse) could be useful to store farming stuff in them (tools, seeds and similar stuff).

Miners
Miners discover suitable site for building a mine, that might contain iron, copper, silver or many other ores. However they have no prospecting knowledge so they do not know what's hidden in Mountain of Horrors, until they dig a hole into the the ground. They did not prospect for possible salt mine location.

EVENTS

Visions
Spoiler :

Chill Bill sat shivering on the mountain peak. He watched the blood drip from his wounded shoulder, each drop anticipating the visions that would come to him. The priests were supposed to feed him regularly, but he doesn't remember the last time they gave him sustenance.Suddenly a vision appears to Chill Bill.He sees the wind as a living thing skirting around in ultimate freedom. Suddenly he feels as if he is the wind, flying around unknown mountain peaks on a thousand worlds. Suddenly he feels as if he is the wind, flying around unknown mountain peaks on a thousand worlds. Up ahead a strange flying creature with the head of a lizard and the wings of a bat screeches towards him. His wind-god takes over pummeling the creature with all it's might, Chill Bill is part of it but isn't. He feels every blow yet he also remains unharmed. He is becoming one with Raj-Tol and he knows it. The scar has stopped bleeding and a priest of Raj-Tol comes up the slope with a plate of meat. "Welcome Brother, it is now time for you to share your vision with your people so more can know the glory that is Raj-Tol"

Priests of Raj-Tol believed that this vision was a sign of hard battles that come ahead. They believe there's another god who battles over domination of Air and Wind. Some of them began training to aid Raj-Tol should he wish their help on battlefield (as only way to kill a god is to kill/convert it's believers) others began praying harder to give more life energy to Raj-Tol.

Spoiler :

Battles of gods influence what happens on ground.

Many declare Raj-tol worthless!
Warrior classes especially saw no help from the Wind God and feel that worshiping such an impotent deity to be a waste of time and many commoners believe that. Followers of Raj-tol pray to the wind god to ask if he has forsaken them. They ask for proof or a sign that Raj-Tol cares for them.

Tornado!
A strange cyclone is seen in the village of Gor'! Followers of Raj-Tol see it as a miracle after a battle with no help from the wind god. The tornado carried pieces of debris and remains of sealife from all over, and seemed to dump them into the fields of Gor. Rather than hurting the farmland though, the debris was mostly decayed plantlife, which added greatly to the fertility of the fields! This cyclone also levelled small amount of wood, making it quite a bit easier for wood cutters to bring wood home. Many of the farmers and commoners rejoice and begin to speak among themselves that the Raj-Tol may be a god worth praying to. This is further encouraged by the fact that there was almost no damage to the rest of the village.
+ Followers of Holy Wind gain strength

Spoiler :

Was it Raj-Tol or just random prank of nature?

Mystery
