ImmacuNES II B- Emperor of the Fading Heavens

With all due respect: Holding off the Symbiots is not as easy as simply throwing numbers at them. the must be Eradicated from Stigmata, lest they overwhelm the defences, which they surely eventually will, for that is thier way. Sooner or later, they will adapt to our weapons, and there wont be a replacement. Those Freemen you claim to love will be torn through like butter by a hot knife. The Symbiots on stigmata MUST be destroyed, not simply contained.

And is eradication any easier?

Surely, if holding them off is as complex as you make it out to be, removing them from their built-in positions within a planet will be far harder. Still, if Klorin does provide adequate proposals for their eradication, Remillard shall gladly play it's allotted part.

House Klorin has a point. Sending freemen, unequipped, untrained as they are to fight the Symbiots would only lead them to being overthrown and might even strengthen the enemy for all we know. Only our weapons, and a better understanding of the magicks brought to us by the Pancreator and the Saints, can help us get rid of the Enemy.
How would freemen accomplish this when only the brightest of all can master thhaumaturgy and theurgy?
How would freemen be able to build those weapons that the old Republic could build, and how could they hope to prevail when the Republic in its glory was unable to fend off the Symbiots?

Whoever said the Freemen would be sent, unequipped and untrained? Moreover, whoever said the Freemen would be sent to Stigmata at all?

If incursions MUST be made to Stigmata, then we of House Remillard would insist on the use of professional soldiers for the task.

The Freemen can serve us without taking up arms.

They can work in the factories, in the fields, freeing up good men of superior quality for service. Plus their children could be suitably educated that they would prove far more useful than the current specimens.

If we had to use the Freemen as soldiers, Remillard would humbly advise not using them for tasks more difficult than as mere planetary garrisons.

After all, they lack discipline and proper military training.

But, this is just advice. The Houses would, ultimately, be free to use their Freemen as they saw fit.

House Hyppean places it's support behind House Klorin. May we purge this blight together.

OOC: I believe the elected Regent distributes these Positions to the Houses/Institutions he finds suitable.

Also OOC, @Thomas: I had the impression that Regency elections are for a lifetime position, not every fourth year. Can someone elaborate on this? Immac?

Hahaaa if it was a lifelong position I'd be running for it ;)

OOC: Aww, the mad face has a santa hat. That's cute.

The charioteers/Coachmen have a bid of 40MF over five turns for the use of their
3rd Merchant Fleet (E2) (SOP: no orders- looking for contract)
1 VK-II-Class Freighter, 1 Double-V-Class Frigate
involving the export of food from arrakis to E2.

This bid supersedes the current 12MF for 1 turn bid. it also additionally provides food to E2 which the Charioteers are happy to be part of.
This does open the opportunity for shipping goods from E2 to Arrakis if anyone is interested. Arrakis is metal poor so finished metal products from E2 would be valuable.

The querry house, with their orbital spaceport looks to be the favorite for the Coachmens's
# 1st Merchant Fleet (E2) (no orders- looking for contract)
1 VK-VIII-Class Freighter, 1 OK-IV-Class Freighter, 1 Rabid-Class Destroyer
a source of food needs to be identified.

If you guys bid higher, then the coachmen may offer you their ships.

remember also that LdiCesare (tsedeq) has a ship availabe but it doesn't come with a military escort.

House Tsedeq is ready to bring food to Errovus Secundus through the Coachmen 1st fleet should House Query agree with this. House Query can contact House Tsedeq, which is ready to provide food either on a 1-year or a regular basis.

We are willing to do that but would like you to ship any excess through the Charioteers. We also welcome the Eekim and Fishers to join in this as well.

A look at Errovus Secondus:

We are willing to do that but would like you to ship any excess through the Charioteers. We also welcome the Eekim and Fishers to join in this as well.

The fishers can provide some small amount of food but don't need to export to E2 unless there is a lot of free-space on your freighter.

@Circuit:

are you still playing?

@Vrutchen or Matt088:

If we don't hear from Circuit by Wednesday/Thursday, i'll get you to take over Kilgore (if you want).

Stigmata (in the new map style):

Spoiler :
Spoiler :

Stigmata is without a doubt a symbiot planet. It, for the most part, is covered in thick vegetation but each and every one of the plant cells that grows on this planet is symbiot. They may feed harmlessly on the sun's dim light but the energy they produce is no doubt being sent to their hives where those sugars are being used, in turn, to develop more devious and dangerous weapons to turn upon us.

It may seem that an enemy that can shapechange, can splice its own genetics nearly at will would be a homogenous enemy, never really anything specific, undefinable. But somehow there are specific 'realms' within the enemy planet. We are unsure if the symbiots from hive nergal are often large slow-moving creatures with good armour because there is a concentration of genetic material coding for those symbiot forms in the area or whether the geology and mineral resources of the area simply allow for those sorts of forms over others.

There is no doubt that some symbiots from a particular area have a chemical content ratio different from those of another area. for example, the great hive amdicius is renown for symbiot forms that make use of extensive six-nucleotide genetics and heavy atomic compounds including fissionable uranium and others.

We can therefore provide some basic breakdown of stigmata's symbiot hives. We submit them to you in the hope that you can make use of this information in your future battles against these creatures.

Hive Nysrogh: There is little doubt that this symbiot hive, so close to our base and the portal has been adversely affected by the radioactivity of our poisoned environment. That being said, the almost daily, poorly coordinated raids that keep our border guards so busy and paranoid often originate from this hive. Hive nysrough forms are known for a lack of complex planning, an absolute inability to produce six-nucleotide forms that might incorporate metals or ceramics.

Hive Philantaneaus: Another hive without the capicity to breed complex six-nucleotide forms, this hive often produces borrowing forms as well as forms wich make extensive use of hardened chetanin. It has been hypothesized that worm-type and beetle-type genetics are a common component of its forms but this is not strictly known.

Hive Malphas: A mountainous hive that makes extensive use of the six-nucleotide genetics, our aerial reconnaissance of this hive is often heavily engaged by a variety of floating jelly-fish like forms. Whether it be due to jellyfish-type genetics being common amongst the breeders of this hive or easy access to hydrogen synthesis or purification resources in the area, many of the forms here are hydrogen-filled jelly-fish like forms. These possess the capacity to both float almost undetected through the air and to ascend completely into space (burning some of their hydrogen to do so).

Hive Raum: The vegetable symbiot lifeforms here are particular thick and most of the forms bred from this hive continue their capacity for photosynthesis even when not otherwise necessary. The hive produces many lighter framed forms with incredible speed and a propensity for high-speed shapechange.

Hive Caym: Potential for six-nucletide forms, the caym produces metallic insect-like forms mostly. The ‘steel razor wasp’ attack of 2297 originated from here.

Hive Mephistopheles: A hive with extensive space-faring higher forms and incredibly sophisticated six-nucleotide forms capable of firing ion weaponry at great distances, forms produced from this hive are incredibly sophisticated, complex, and dangerous. We do not recon this area any more.

Hive eurynome: characteristics uknown

Hive nergal: forms typically slow-moving with good armour- the recent giant milipedes are thought to have originated from here.

Hive zepar: characteristics uknown

Hive aym: characteristics uknown

Hive bifrons: characteristics uknown

Hive ililpos: characteristics uknown

Hive deumos: characteristics uknown

Hive proserpine: characteristics uknown

Hive naberius: characteristics uknown

Hive ambdicius: Produces space-faring forms capable of producing fusion engines and firing ion cannons. Hive ambdicius seems to maintain a synchronous space-level hive not unlike our own spaceports, the function of which may very well be similar in that symbiot space-faring forms rendezvous here for repairs and maintenance. The imperium fleet is warned to stay away from the air and space regions surrounding this hive.

Hive abigor: characteristics uknown

Hive uphir: characteristics uknown

Hive Succorbenoth: characteristics uknown

Hive semiazaz: characteristics uknown

Hive ukobach: characteristics uknown

Hive adramelech: characteristics uknown

Yay for releiving after exam stress...

Propaganda for the Imperium

did you know that it's pretty much impossible to find free stock WW2 footage from the web?

lurker's comment:
Not bad. Personally I would have used something other than blue as font color tho. But it works as a propaganda. I'd like some more tho, kthxbye:mischief:

I did not think that your orders required so much information... I am now doubtful that I will get them in tonight, I am too tired to even think that complexly (2-3 actions, explaining what my policy did... buying or giving orders to the military, spending my money... etc...), but I will try to get them in tomorrow.
