Too long we have abandoned our faith in Junil. Eventhough we are His Chosen, we did not present necessary tribute to Him. But this will change. Starting from this year, every man, woman and child in Bannor empire will sacrifice their best for Junil. It is not that He need our petty sacrifice. But in sacrificing our best, we affirm our faith in Him, and our trust to Him.
Our relation with the Clans of Embers is deteriorating fast. Sheelba never confirm our offer of faith, neither she stop helping the barbarian Orcs and malicious Undeads. We can not tolerate her misguided behavior further. We declare war to the Clans, just before they declare to us!
Our southern forces found some suspicious movement from the Clans. Apparently, they built a city near an Orcish fortress. While there is a Wheat source there, no other important resources are available. So, the Clans must be protecting the fortress. We decided to attack the city of Pain.
We managed to destroy Pain and our suspicion came true. The Orcish fortress was hiding Orthus. It was Junil Blessing that guiding us there. If we missed Orthus and he managed to consolidated the barbarian clans, there is no telling what dire future will befall on the Bannor.
Now, instead of terrorizing the Bannor, Orthus and his ragtag troop meet their demise. Our high ranking Cleric take Orthus' Axe as a memento from the Battle of Pain. Other Cleric found a Ring of Resistance in the fortress' ruin.
While our troops were busy fighting Orthus, a minor trouble was stirring in our capital. Some youth claimed that the elders in Elder Council do nothing more than telling old tales. So be it. We will lend a firm hand in managing the Council.
Our faith in Junil has appeased Him. He grant us a Sacred Knowledge. With this sacred knowledge, our disciples will be able to bless our troops, making them more efficient in battling various demons.
A great merchant was born, and he open a Sheep pasture.
Sheelba mobilized her forces. She threatened our southern troops. Fortunately, our Clerics able to cast Bless. The battle was short, and we were able to defeat Sheelba's army. Unfortunately, the Clans hero, Rantine, managed to flee from combat.
We have finished our study of angelic language. We are able to summon Eternal Crusaders to help our battle against evil. We decide to master the elements and delve further to the realm of enchantment.
Our southern force pushed into the Clans' territory, and managed to capture the Renegade Hill.
This victory ended in another test for us, the Bannor. Just before we launched the final strike against Sheelba's capital, a powerful demon arose! Sages indentify him as Stephanos, demon prince of Command and Authority. At the moment, Stephanos only managed to kill several workers in outskirt of our cities, but he is approaching our inner territory. We have to do something!
End note :
Dang, I don't know what made the AC reached 40. AFAIK, I did not raze anything or do anything evil. Stephanos' appearance really surprised me!
Using Bless+sacrificing low level units can stop him; However, he has a Fear promotion, meaning many units will be too afraid to attack him. We need courage, asap!
