:) Could you make some screenshots?
Is it world map or just Eurasia / Europa?

Yes, you should give screeniies, aand make explanations too :)

I will get a try...

Thx for the feedback.:) Here are some screenshots. As you can see, the scenario plays out on a modified Worldmap. More info available on the download page (see 1st post).

I'd like very much to explain, but what would you like explained?

Feedback: i just began with Byzantines and wow ! seems historical

Then i understood that it was 17 civs in the game (player + 16 AIs) : why not a 17th civ ? I suggest Poland, :mischief: Or an other muslim faction...

After your should give a credit for the map even slightly modified...

I think it's Rhye's Earth Map slightly modified by you ;)

I like a lot your work...

I suggest that you enable "no city razing" option by default

More info available on the download page (see 1st post).

You didn't link to the download page, you linked to the actual file. :)

Also, every computer I've seen starts with software to open zip files, but I don't think very many can do 7z. Maybe it you used the more common format people would be more eager to try it out, because then they don't also have to download another zip file reader.

@ SevenSpirits: Yes, indeed. But the file itself contains some Notes. I used 7-zip (instead of Zip) because it's free, which works for me.

@ Lachlan: I started out, I believe, with the Medieval 1000 AD map version, modifying it to accomodate possible sea cities (which is kind of hard to do on a Mountain isle square), adding some sea food and slightly expanded the initial Inca expansion area. I would have liked to include the Seljuk Turks (as a counterweight to the Byzantines), but I'm not much of a modder. If anyone has a suggestion on how to include them, I will. I've playtested the scenario thoroughly myself and nobody ever razed a city as far as I could tell.

I'm sure it works for you, and it works for me too. All I'm saying is you'll get more users by choosing a format that everyone knows and has a program for. It's inconvenient to have to figure out a new file format just to look at one thing, especially when the description of it is inside the archive!

Great scenario - I play it with Aztecs and it's fun :)
I agree Poland could be added :p

It's historical and very well done :). Sweden might be overpowered cause they are developing Grenadiers (it's xvii c.) while the rest of europe runs on musketeers

@ SevenSpirits: I've added a standard Zipfile for easy access.;)

@ asioasioasio: Thnx! (I guess, although I don't understand your comment about Sweden. I suppose you mean the Vikings?

EDIT: Zipfile removed - replaced by link to 7z (see 1st post)

After playing the scenario briefly I agree it's very cool. I had recently tried out the provided 1000AD scenario as the Byzantines and they had it way too easy. This one... not so much. :)

I was also wondering: did you leave out a Buddhist holy city on purpose?

Tnx again!:mischief: Oops! No, I didn't... It's supposed to be Indian, ofcourse. I will correct it if more issues pop up.

Some more feedback:

China starts with a lion in North Africa. Really? :crazyeye:

The inevitable great artist bomb by Vermeer of the Vikings seems a little odd. Why is that there?

 Mmm... Yeah, I knew about that, but presumed it'd be killed off anyway... That's another things to keep in mind for an update. I also would very much like to include the Turks (perhaps exchanging them for the Koreans)...

Yup I ment Vikings :)
You oculd combine it eventually with mod adding more nations, so you don't worry about replacing Koreans with Turkey (BTW Korea was first to prove that the world is rounded :) )

Version 2 has been oploaded. (Version 1 removed after 27 downloads)

- Chinese lion in N.-Africa deleted
- Hindu holy city added.

Thx SevenSpirits !:hatsoff:

Just downloaded, looks interesting as a historic map type scenario, will update you on my game as time permits. Must have taken quite a while to set the map up.:goodjob:
