Explorers. I think I build ironclads more often than I built Explorers.

I would love make more use of Samurai ... they arrive and then they are quickly beaten. SAd really when they should have a few hundred years of use.

Indeed, Samurai is very powerful. But japan is extremely difficult to use in higher level.

I guess if you play enough times of game and use different maps and civilizations, you will find almost every unit is useful to confront varios situations.
