How can I change the civ turn order for the Earth 18 civs map?

See title. I dont want to make any changes to the map or game except for being able to change the play order. I want to do a multiplayer hotseat/PBEM game where each player controls 3 civs, but I'd like to be able to have each players 3 civs be in order next to each other. For example, if someone wants Persia, Rome and France, the turn order starts with Persia, Rome, France, then the next players' 3 civs, etc.

Also I'd love to be able to use advanced start with this map too... anyone have any thoughts?

Copy the map, and edit the copy.

Move around the team numbers. Keep the starting locations.

Hope that works!

Thanks, it does, but how do I do that more specifically? I don't use worldbuilder or mess around with things like that and i'm a little tech-stupid

1. Go to "custom scenario"....I think the earth 18 civs is available there. if not, go to OPTION II.
2. As you are in "custom scenario, picking the players and civs etc. You can pick "advanced start" I believe. Also there are these lists of players that say "OPEN/CLOSED" etc, if it's 18 civs you'll have yourself (the Player) and 17 AIs open. Select all civilizations and leaders you want, etc....and where it says TEAM 1, TEAM 2, TEAM 3, etc....change the team numbers for each of them in the order you want them to play. If you want to go, say...15th...you are Team 15. (WARNING: if you accidentally make 2 AIs the same team, you effectively made them one huge monster of a techer as they share economies and have the equivalent of a permanent alliance)

OPTION 2: Set up a game with 18 civs earth map. Begin it
2-2. Open worldbuilder. Save it as a scenario to your C-drive
2-3. Search your C drive for the 'map' with the custom file name you gave it.
2-4. Open the custom file with notepad, wordpad, some text computer accessory.
2-5. Look at the XML/Python script....opening paragraphs I BELIEVE talk about if the era= ANCIENT or era=INDUSTRIAL,
2-6. There are paragraphs that eventually go down and say Team = 1, Team =2 etc....there are also leaders and civs hooked up with equals....Warning....if you hack this stuff here, you must write it EXACTLY as it appears in Leaderhead and civinfo files in other directories. Mistakes can mess up this file (good thing you saved it as a scenario).
2-7. Open scenario. Enjoy.
