Rise of the Ottoman Empire
Chapter One:
In the Beginning...

"Never mind that now Suleiman the game is starting, and you are going to lead my chosen people to greatness in this game"

I am so very sorry for not having an update today, my little brother was on the computer all day, I am not even posting this from a computer, it is ob my iPod, I hope I will be able to get in an update tomorrow after school, again very sorry

I'd say it's no problem as some storytellers take a week or more to update. Of course, it would be interesting to have an update every day but by all means write when you feel like it. No-one forces you to update daily if you simply cannot.

Istanbul, Not Constantinople

Why not Constantinople?
"Because Constantinople is a Byzantine name for one and for two the name for this chapter is Istanbul, Not Constantinople."
Ok kinda a criptic message, but I will ignore it for now.
"Very good Suleiman, you are learning, but your people need direction in what they should build, make them build a scout."

Chapter 3:
Care for a cup of tea good chaps?

"Suleiman, I'm back."
Oh thank goodness, I thought you died!

"They are Barbarians, they are most definitively not friendly, but our turn is over, their is not much we can do about it now can we.
No, wait, turn? You mean that this world is full of turns, I thought it was real time, not some sort of stand still universe that jumps forward in time every turn! IS THIS ALL JUST A GAME TO YOU?!
"Wait Suleiman, Calm down, but actually yes this is just a game to me, but could you really imagine a game like this in real time, how would it work, sure the multiplayer is in real time, but it sill has turns to divide up unit movements and tech advancement."
I did not understand any word of what you just said, any ways it looks like Istanbul has just built a Scout.
"Excellent, send him south."

"Move the warriors up north, and attack the Barbarian Camp.
Are you sure that is a good idea? The HUD says that it will be a minor defeat.

Hey sorry about the lack of updates, but I have an explanationation, my computer actually crapped out about a week ago, so to fix it my mom decided ti do a complete wipe of everything on the computer, I saved the save file on a flash drive though so the story will go on, however the computer draped out on us halfway through the purge, having already deleated some of the needed to boot the computer, we ordered a boot disk and we are trying ti get the computer fixed, hopefully I will be able to post an update sometime next week.

Well, I have bad news, the computer crapped out so badly we actually have to ship it back to HP to have it fixed, it probably won't be back for another week or two, so this story is officially on hiatus until then, I WILL FINISH I PROMISE, I just have to wait for the computer to get back. Again so very sorry about the lack of updates, just don't waist your day waiting for updates.

Gods and Kings

"Hey Suleiman, Guess what."
Is your computer back, this flash drive is very stuffy and I would like to get out.
"Actually yes, it is back, so yay for that."
Woo, now I finally can get out of here and get back to ruling .
"Well not yet."
Not yet, what the heck do you mean!?
"Well do you know what happened yesterday?"
No, why?
"Well the Gods and Kings expansion was released yesterday."
And what does that mean?
"Well I was thinking that my readers could take a vote."
A vote, a vote for what, seriously we haven't learned about Democracy yet, heck we don't even have the Liberty social policy opened yet.
"No the people of the Empire don't get a vote, the people reading this thing get to vote on whether I finish this game in vanilla or if I should restart in Gods and Kings, so what do you say, should I continue this game, or should I destroy this world and stuff Suleiman in carbonite and have him rule a new Ottoman Empire with the features of Gods and Kings?
WHAT I DON'T WANT TO BE STUFFED INTO CARBONITE, IT DOESN'T FEEL GOOD! NOOOOOOOO...........

so guys your choice should I finish this story or restart in Gods and Kings? Honestly if we weren't so early in the game I wouldn't be giving the choice but since we are, do you want to see Suleiman rule in a new game with the great new features of Gods and Kings? I honestly think it would make for an interesting story.

so majority consensus says, restart with gods and kings, i was actualy out of town (and away from all forms of internet) and i have alot of work to do for my college classes, so expect an update
