"We love the ruler!" day
Sometimes one of your cities demands some luxury resource which your civ doesn't possess. Let's say my capital wants fur.
If I buy fur from another civ, and then after 2 turns I declare war on that civ. Will "we love the ruler!" day stop or shorten in my capital because of cease in supply of fur? |

Nope. Once a 'We love the Dude day' starts, it goes for the full length, no matter what.
At least that's been my experience. ~R~ |

If it goes for full length for you anyways, you are one lucky individual.
For me, every time the trade route is cut off the "We love" day is ended. ..and as far as i'm concerned, it makes perfect sense. Why should they be celebrating something taken away by the hell of war? Last edited by Nosehair44; Jun 04, 2012 at 02:43 AM. Reason: EDIT: apparently, i pulled a newbie stupie. You guys are right, idk what i was thinking. :/ |

I just ran a test; WLtKD is never interrupted. You can lose the last unit of the demanded resource by declaring war against the supplier, or by barbarians pillaging the source, but the bonus isn't lost.

We seem to have two different answers.
Maybe it's a function of difficulty level? On Chieftain it's not interrupted, but on Prince it is? |

It's not on either. The answer to OP question is no and it has nothing to do with difficulty.
