Should we wait for Gods and Kings and create a new game?

We'll start more games when G&K is out. Unless things are really screwed up for you, we should continue this one too, though.

(Showing Incan leader on load save screen is normal, though, since the host (me) is Inca...but in diplo menu? That's strange.)

Vikings conquered Spain early on and then got acculturated?

Hang on...someone else was already Spain.... Let me load this thing up and see what kind of mayhem has occurred!

As I said on the GMR site, many civs have switched. And yes, it looks like the ACTUAL civ has switched, not just the colors.

I think we can continue playing for fun, or we could abandon and just start a new game once people get used to the G&K mechanics. Assuming we all have G&K of course.

Yep, definitely civs have switched, and Mongols weren't even in the mix before, so I'm guessing one civ has also disappeared. Only Tab's civ seems the same, on the list at least. Babs are vikings.

I'll ask Mel if he can do surgery on our save. I'm guessing reverting the turn won't change anything.

We havent got that far in yet. I'm guessing there is still time for people to change gameplan? I'm playing mostly for the diplo and roleplay and switching civ isnt that big of a deal this early for me.

(Also, count me in for a G&K GMR game!)

Alright I fixed up your save file so it should now reflect the proper civilizations and be updated for the latest CiV patch! I had to revert back several turns to get a copy of the save file before it was adulterated. Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you guys!

Thanks man!

I was Polynesia before, and I'm still Polynesia now. So I certainly have no problem continuing the game, even if it is borked.

But if we can fix it, I suppose I don't mind replaying a few turns. Or 1 turn, as the case may be.

I think you'll be able to put some of these threads (or excerpts) on your resume for any client relations positions!

Or for programming skills. Or for diligence and creativity. Or...

Btw, hi "Babylon". My Maoris are baffled. Just yesterday they saw angry bearded bear-men on those hills. Today they took another look, and they see respectable civilized people! I will have their eyes checked when they return to paradise.

I hope our two peoples can live in peace and harmony. The Polynesians have no desire for any conflict whatsoever. We hope you feel the same.

Oh, the half naked, should properly dressed before heading to the Babylon throne. Babylon people will be peaceful if they get the cotton valley city planted. Not sure where the Maori explorer was coming from. If you are coming from the North, we shall negotiate.

This is properly dressed. And we have not heard of this "cotton" you speak of. We come from the Eastern coast, and wish to live in peace and harmony with all. It is very likely you may have this cotton valley.
