Victory Denied!
I typically don't play scenarios, but I figured I'd give the Ancient Wonders a shot. At prince level, it didn't prove challenging - it was clear I'd build all 9 wonders - but I decided to play it out. On turn 179, the Great Library should have been completed and the game over, but turn 179 never came. The game hung up on me and I had to use the system Task Manager to shut Civ V down.
However, when I loaded Civ V back up again, I was immediately awarded two Steam acheivements for winning the game. So I guess I won, but I was denied my victory screen. Anyone have a screen shot of what that scenario victory looks like? Thanks. HB |
