Pachacuti rules Spain
I was playing as Korea on the Mediterranean map vs one AI and 20 CS with raging barbarians. I started before the patch and by the time I got to them (Mediterranean is a large map) I found my enemy was Spain. To top it off their ruler is Pachacuti. Korea is on the Red Sea (Arabia area) and Spain is on the west end of the Med where it belongs. I have a lot of allied military city states (I have about 1200 influence with Hanoi). I have never seen so many barbarians ! Hanoi is on the northwest corner of Morocco and was 2 deep in archers when I arrived. I had 2 turtles, 2 Frigates , and a trireme and became allies by killing wave after wave of barbs. It got better after they gifted me an artillery unit and an anti tank gun. We healed up our navy and took the southern most Spanish town. That was when I discovered that the Spanish could roll over hills like the Incas.
Has any one else run into this kind of mutation. This is a domination game only, and I'm 10 techs up. I figure I will still win, but will it even count? |

This happens if you load games, which were started before the patch (and with DLC).
Consider the game lost, start a new one :/. |

I did finish the game by taking the AI capitol. The log showed the increase in the number of purchased tiles but the victory total did not increase.
Interesting sidelight, the original opponent was Denmark, but the upgrade changed both the leader and country to a non matched pair. |

See above, it's a 1 time bug. Just start a new game and forget your old. |

I had a game where I was going for conquest with the Mongols on a large map. I was halfway done when it patched. When I came back, I was the Babylonians. At first I was thrilled because their UA is much better. Then I saw my Keshiks were all Hwach'as and my Khans were Bowmen. That's definitely a setback in my conquest. Now I have to decide if it's worth continuing to conquer with my Mongylonian horde.

pacachuti was the leader of spain in one of my games too. Some of the results of the patch glitch were hilarious.
