Invisible Leaders

EDIT: Nevermind, problem solved.

Hi everyone! I recently bought Civilization IV Complete Edition, and so far I'm loving it. Everything is running super well - except for the odd glitch that renders other civilizations' leaders invisible, save for their upper eyelids and accessories they might be wearing. Take a look:

It's odd (and really creepy), because it never happened in the demo I downloaded from Aspyr themselves. This is the only glitch I've encountered - like I said, everything else runs very smoothly. Can anybody help out?

Hi, welcome

This sort of thing used to happen in the early releases, but I thought it was fixed by the later patches.

What version numbers do you have? It should show in the Get Info screen for each application file in Finder, and on the main menu screen. There should be a different one for vanilla, Warlords and BtS.

[EDIT] I've seen your edit. So what was the problem?

Probably caused by setting Anti-Aliasing higher than 0. That bug was never fixed, at least for Nvidia chipsets.

Like Xyth said, it was the anti-aliasing. When set above zero, the leaderheads just vanish. I did some Googling and apparently it was never fixed.

Yes, it was long ago and far away. I'd forgotten that anti-aliasing used to do that. I'm getting rusty on Civ4
