I was curiouse, since catching a glance at my own 400+ hours of Cov on steam, how much other people have played. I've heard of a few people who've sunk a thousand hours

1300 or so on mine. Granted some times I've left it on overnight, so it usually could be 800 or 900 actually played

These polls never have enough options. I have 2788 hours, but get lumped in with the casual players who have barely broken the 1000 mark. I had 1284 back in May. Of last year. 95.5 just in the last two weeks. What I'm saying is you need a category for people who spend waaay too much time playing this game. And I don't even have the highest playtime. Not even close.

Only 145 here, I hadn't played the game since last year (i only played like an hour even though i actually bought it when it came out). I started playing again properly 3 weeks ago, played 51 hours the last 2 weeks, and the rest of that the week before.

Are you serious? It's not a joke or anything? ![]() Little old me, yeah, gonna reach the 100 hour mark today probably. Like I've said it before - up until a couple of months ago I didn't like CiV, or rather liked it, but couldn't get past its many faults. Now though, after some severe patching and a whole expansion pack that actually fixed almost everything I didn't like about the game, I really enjoy paying it. On a purely conceptual level CiV has always been a great game, but it really needed some proper tweaking to realize that potential at least to the point where I don't feel like going back to IV any time soon.

Well, the outrage is a joke, but the playtime isn't.

Just about 1800 hrs, not even close to buchengshi, but then I prolly put the same amount into Skyrim and a few 100ds into Fallout. So it's not uncommon.
Even with school or as adult, with a job, it's not hard to clock some hrs here and there, if you like the game. I'm an adult and have 1800hrs and it's crazy as it amount to nearly 11 months of all around playing this game. Nearly a year of doing nothing else but clicking. Mankind needs a review and so do I.

1,078 for me. Good god. And I consider myself a casual player. I have been playing since release day, in fairness... not non-stop, mind you!

247. WTF I swear I feel like I've been breathing this game. But only 247 hours =/
But I work and go to university at the same time so it's a perception thing that I'm using all my free time in this game. |

I'm nearing the 2000 mark, just over 1900. Crazy. Even considering there have been weeks at a time when I've not played at all. I did start pretty soon after release so it's been a while. After the first year I did the maths and found that I had spent 17% of my waking hours for that year playing civ ! Lol

I answer whenever these polls come out. It is clocking at 2207 hours right now. I was playing an awful lot of GalCiv while waiting for G+K. Just finished a game with the Byzantines. I know a lot of that time is idle multitasking time, but most of it is insomnia.
There are others who have logged more hours. I have to assume they have multitasking time as well, since I am appalled how obsessively long my sessions get. But I have to conclude that since I probably have more active hours than I am ready to admit, there are more active hours in other totals than I am able to conceive.
