Made three new chess videos about the three games I played today for a New Years Quad. My opponents were two National Masters and a GrandMaster.

Sorry the video & sound quality aren't 100% up to par. If anyone has an alternative video creation tool for recording the screen for YouTube please let me know! Thanks!

Please rate & comment.

Great stuff, enjoyed playing through those! You put up a really good fight against that GM and pretty much had that first NM on the ropes. Guess the time factor was a big issue in places. Well played!

Yeah, G-30 isn't my strong suit (really it's generally played as G-25 with a 5 second time delay as it was in this tournament) but thanks, I was happy to feel like I was able to go head to head with these guys.

With the recent explosion of let's plays I find it strange that I cannot find a single let's play of chess that isn't someone who hardly knows the rules playing against Chess Titans. Isn't there a single person on the Internet that is willing to play a bit of chess somewhere and talk about what they are thinking while playing?

I am actually thinking about trying to do a let's play myself when I can afford a new computer. Maybe I could inspire someone else to make one as well...

Hmm ... the best youtube channel I know for this is

http://www.youtube.com/user/kingscru...eature=g-all-u

Kingscrusher is CM Tryfon Gavriel from the UK - he's done thousands of videos! Some of them are him recounting OTB games but there are plenty of him chatting a bit whilst playing. Mostly he's been doing 5 minute/2 minute warzone videos lately but here's a 15 minute game:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVPzi...feature=relmfu

if you're looking for something a bit longer. Or you could watch some of these:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Y-1PNcYTNg

which is a recording of the BBC "Master Game" series they did - the commentary is again retrospective by the GMs playing, but done as if they are thinking on the spot and following their thought processes. See what you think I guess.

EDIT: Forgot to mention this guy:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2fqU...8&feature=plcp

he's a German FM who does live commentaries, here is one of him doing a dual commentary game, where his opponent also made a video of his live commentary!

Thanks for the links. I haven't managed to find anything like it in my hours of searching.
