No Numpad!!!

Hi Guys,

Has anyone figured out how to use Steam Civ IV on a macbook air?

I can move units by using cursor and "G" but I cannot initiate any attack on a country, even move into a foreign country space, by using this method.

Its a shame, as otherwise the program works reasonably well - albeit, I wasn't able to successfully install BTS...

Many thanks for any help.
Jon

I've always played Civ IV without a numpad on Win XP to 7.

Can you declare war/sign oped borders through diplo?

No I can't - and the MB Air doesn't have the normal alternative to a numpad.

Just a suggestion - Do you have a smart phone (e.g. iPhone or Android)? You can get a free app to make it work as a numeric keypad. I've used this on a MacBookPro when I needed a fast numeric data entry keypad.

I'm able to move units into enemy territory (or anywhere) by two finger clicking (i.e a right click) on the destination tile. This method lets me declare war fine and I've never needed to use any numpad functionality.
