But I do think we will put in one hell of a fight come the Ashes. The England team that beat us at home last time was to my mind the best touring side to visit since the great West Indian sides of the 80's and early 90's and I think they have fallen back a fair bit since then. |

Australia is still a very good side.It is just that England are the form team and the team to beat for rest of the international sides . Looking forward to England versus the Proteas .

This ODI series is between a settled England side and an experimental Aussie one.
Aussie will be stronger for the Ashes, provided the oldies are in form and the quicks are not injured. |

Poor performance especially by the bowlers from England, lets hope we can turn this around.

What a pounding for the 'best team in the world': 20 wickets to 2 in their own backyard.

Interesting 5th day coming. South Africans 8 wickets away from 2-0 series win and England 330 runs away from retaining their no 1 ranking in tests. On a 5th day pitch facing Steyn,Morkel and co without Peterson, I am sure Enland would be happy with a draw. Rain is always a possiblity.

Anyone watching the current 20/20 world cup. Backing South Africa to get it. West Indies and Pakistan have strong teams as well. But the format being what it is difficult to predict a winner.

Doubt that with the weakness of Indian bowling. Even batting is not that strong with Gambhir/Sehwag out of form. Only Kohli consistently carrying the burden. The matches against afghanistan exposed all these weakness. Right now am very much impressed with the South African ,England and Australian sides .

It says more about the English and how they play spin than it does about the Indian bowling attack.

Buddy I'm an Indian as well. I would like India to win. But the reality is the present team is weak . The batsmen are out of form except for 1 and the bowling is not great. Only thing we know from yesterday's match is England can't handle spin in sub-continent atleast not without Peterson and Bell.

Irrelevant really.
Its the fault of the non-Asians that they cant play spin, while India, cant handle short pitched stuff. Deal with it. The competition is in Sri Lanka, they are supposed to play spin. @ Azzaman, weren't England at down 2 even before Bhajji come around in the 5th over. England can't play military pace as well :P
