Which Civilization game should I choose?
Hello, I found 2 Civilization games in my bookshelf that I haven't installed yet, the 1st is "Civilization Beyond the Sword" and the 2nd is "Civilization Complete"
Which one should I install, or should I install both? The 1st says "Expansion pack to the Game of the Year (Requires Civilization IV to play)" and The 2nd says "Includes CIVILIZATION IV Game of the Year, plus WARLORDS and BEYOND the SWORD expansion packs." Thank you

Beyond the Sword is an expansion pack, not a stand-alone game. That means it's just new content for the base game, expanding it. So you would need the base game - Civilzation 4 - first, otherwise you can't play it.
Since "Civilization Complete" has not only the base game - Civilization 4 - but also both of the expansions in it, you should go for that. Beyond the Sword is completely redundant in this case, as it is already included in your collection, so you don't have to independently install it on your computer. Hope this helps. |

I like how not only did the mod forget to welcome him,but did he even read the post?...
the guy said he found them on HIS bookshelf...which means someone had to of bought them. Since they don't magically appear in your house...like magic... BTW welcome to Civfanatics...you'll master this game in no time!
