That's right. It sucks.
It works normally in hotseat (and therefore GMR) as far as I know. |

last thing i want is a ai contacting me start of turn while real oppoentns (humans) kill my units.
Truly wonder why people dont see the obvious and ask same (not so clever) stuff over and over

because in SP the game is stoped once ai contacts u while in mp the timer have to be running - or u want have 5+ guys other do nothing while u try deal with ai?

And the game can't do this in MP because? Oh yes simultaneous turns. That can't be turned off...
How was this handled in Civ4?
