Hi guys. Recently I've experienced this weird problem: at some point into the game, usually after I've messed up with some savings and loadings, the 'capital screen' (the one when you press F10) suddenly loses many of its components
It's hard to describe precisely, but this is a link to a picture of it & the dxdiag file of my system:http://www.mediafire.com/?oh6xiwtjzb0aw This issue only applies to my civ's capital, when I press the arrow keys to change to another city, the city screen regains its full display, and if I turn back to the capital, it's lost again. Reloading or even rebooting doesn't solve the problem, so is it something with the saves? Unfortunately I keeps very few saves and don't have a save of about 1000 years prior to that point of the game, so I can't check for sure. But my wild guess is that an old save, if any, would provide me with a normal screen. After this trouble showed up, I take the initial 4000BC save and test found the capital, it's alright. Any ideas? Since the capital is usually the most powerful and important city of the whole empire, losing the close control of it is a significant disadvantage one has to deal with, especially when you run SE and need to assign scientists frequently enough. And I can't do very well using the F1 domestic advisor! Oh, and I'm running 1.74 version, HoF mod. Any help will be appreciated

Found something here.
I am not at home right now, so can't check if it fixes the problem, but will do it later today. cheers EDIT: To me, it happened when I built the great library, so this is the right solution I guess. EDIT2: Yep, problem solved .
