Mobile Infantry
Hello this is a unit for Planetfall mod. i believe that Zerver had done the weapon the unit carries. It is a hand-painted reskin/reequip/remodel of my Modern Paratrooper unit.
The unit has full animations INCLUDING THE PARADROP ACTION! ![]() This is my first unit in a long time, i hope you missed me ![]() Please USE THIS UNIT in your mod or whatever, and PLEASE CREDIT me, thankyouverymuch ![]() EDIT!!!: THE_COYOTE has EDITED THIS UNIT DOWN IN POLYS Thanks The_Coyote!!the new version looks nearly identical, just way better performance the old version is attached to this post download link

It would also nice if some animator would make different landing animation for the futuristic paratroopers - like landing bots in BF 2045. Falls, collapses, and the rifleman comes out of it into the battle with no harm from landing.

![]() I noticed it has a high 2000+ polygon count though. What's taking so much? I assume Zerver's gun is a big reason. GarretSidzaka, would you be interested in creating a weapon which uses the awesome Cruiser_DIFF.dds, but has a much lower triangle count? I could use some low polygon infantry weapons with a fitting futuristic dds texture. Quote:

thanks bro @zerver yeah i think that idea would be cool. i compulsively play BF2142 now ![]() @Maniac i think that the head and the gun are high poly, and with all reequips with changed head, under that new head there is the old one too, just shrunken @the_J yeah i knew this one would find some more homes besides just planetfall

The one in the top right screenshot of the picture you posted, looks larger than regular weaponfire to me.

yeah its actually the original effect from the paratrooper, but exactly 2.5 X larger
