Hi everybody,
I have been surfing the site for very long, and first of all I would like to thank you guys for the good work, you have been doing amazing things!! I bought bts some days ago, was very excited for the number of civs and various add-ons to be downloaded... but I simply cannot get anything to work I've been trying all the different solutions for modular loading proposed in the forum, but not a single one seems to work. To put things more straightforwardly, the new civs and stuff load fine ONLY when I load them by clicking ADVANCED-->LOAD A MOD, and next time I open the game they are just gone. The thing is: yes, modular loading on on civ config file, and yes, civs put in program files/.../mods, but still no modular loading Apart from my personal problem, regarding which I would like to thank you in advance for any solution/feedback that comes up, I would also like to point out from my noob point of view that there is a bit of a mess round here regarding modular loading: there are simpli dozens of solutions proposed. One suggests to put the files in the customassets folder, the other to the main mods folder, one is for one directory structure, one for the other.... Wouldn't it be wise to propose just one solution and tested? Ok, that was just a personal observation, thank you very much for your help |

Modular loading is simply easy. Find Civ4Config.ini and find this code:
Code:
; Specify a Mod folder (Mods\Mesopotamia), '0' for none Mod = 0 Code:
; Specify a Mod folder (Mods\Mesopotamia), '0' for none Mod = Mods/(And your mod's name) |

That's not modular loading Nitram. All that will do is have BtS automatically load the mod you specify when BtS is launched. You can do this more logically be creating shortcuts in my oppinion.
I don't know about modular loading, but I know your response has nothing to do with it. |
