New Unit Preview: Heinkel He-111

Here is my next project after the V-1, the german bomber Heinkel He-111.The default image is based in the Civ3 standard bomber, but I'm trying to make better my heinkel. I'm opened for suggestions and comments
Here is a basic preview (I suppose that this won't be the final default.flc)

Thumbs up Thanks, buddy!

Good job! I liked your civilopedia entry, but for the finished unit, I'll modify a little the text (I'll add more operational history) .
Also I liked the camouflage's pictures. I have a lot of them in Luftwaffe books. I'll see what I get to the finished unit icon.
thanks again!

Don't make it to big !!

Great unit.....i like the pic.

I downloaded many units and worked with it.......but......there are a lot of units like the Tiger tank, Stuka ect. who are just to big!

The Reiter, KV2 and the Modern Frigate are a perfect example of a good size! Those are great units that perfectly fits in the game. The Me-262 and the Sherman that I downloaded are nice units but are a bit to small. So I hope u guy's now what you are doing and are making this the best unit ever with the right size!!

I dont no much about making custom units and how long this take but please choose the right size!

Thank you.....good luck!

I also like the Spitfire.........maybe your next unit?????

With what program do u make those units....because maybe i can give it a try... Do you use default units to make a custom unit?

Hi,
The He111 is Nazi Germany best bombers during WWII.
And give Pablostuka a break!

It takes time to create a unit!!!! :jump:

I can assure you that he will finish the job.
I am waiting for the Flamethrower...I do KNOW MYSELF it takes a lot of work to complete an infantry unit

Pablostuka is a great guy and helps a lot of people in finding stuff like sounds, etc...

Have a good day

YEah!! I hear I nice word!!!!! Infantry!

I would be cool to have a Infantry guy with a germany helmed
8). So I can build up a german army with german soldiers 9by the way i'm not from german, I play germany)

The default infantry is a Englisch Soldier ( if you have a look at his helmed).

I was planning to create a German Infantry unit (Grenaider)
but then I changed my mind ( I saw Winter creating a German Guard..., Hitler personal guard,....I wonder if he is still working on it)
Should I or shouldn't I create now a Grenaider...
See the problem is when you create a special unit, you cannot upgrade it.
Example: If I create a special Grenaider replacing the german infantry YOU CANNOT UPGRADE the Rifleman to "Grenaider".
So that means you are limited in upgrades.
The Knight unit in my game, cannot be upgraded to the Reiter That is why I changed my mind.
But then again....maybe will find some time to create it.

Hi, buddies!! And thanks, nonno, you're a great friend!
I have 2 points:
1) The Heinkel He-111 wasn't the best german bomber...it was very slow, and carried only 2000 kg of bombs (The B-17 carried 7000 kg aprox.), but it was the most numbered medium bomber of the Luftwaffe in the early years of the war. In 1943 it was completely obsolete . Maybe the best German bomber could had been the Heinkel He-274, called the "Amerika bomber".But only were built 2 prototypes.
2)Nonnob3...this kind of German infantry isn't called "Grenadier", instead of "Grenaider"?I'm not really sure. Perhaps we could ask W.i.n.t.e.r

Bye, buddies!!!!!
