This is a map of mars if it had water on it.
Map includes: Resources,some Rivers, Goody Huts, Default Rules

version 1.0 removed after 86 downloads

version 1.1 changes:

MAP: Added more rivers to the Terrain.

Units: Jet Fighter= A-12, D-8, OR-8, BS-4, RoF-2, Unit made moveable!!!
F-15= A-12, D-8, OR-8, BS-6, RoF-3, Unit made moveable!!!

Resources: Fish= food-6, commerce-2
Cattle= food-6, shields-4
Wheat= food-6,
Gold= commerce-12

General Settings: Movement along Roads= 4
Default money Resource= Gold
Basic Barb= Swordsman
Adv. Barb= Knight
Barb Sea Unit= Galleon
town Defence Bonus= 25 instead of 0

Copy Bic into your CivilizationIII/Scenario folder

I downloaded the map by itself, and it definitely isn´t working. An error in the arts directory occured immediately after the first round. I think you should remove the file you have here, perhaps even the entire thread, or adjust it so it is at least playable.

That's sprnv8's last post. Which means, chances are, he's left the forum and can't update this map.

I would suggest emailing him, since he's provided the address, and the fact that this thread hasn't been posted in, for 6 months.

and the scenario could go like this;naughty citizens of future earth dicided to make a little experiment and put different races on inhabital mars.and the spaceship for alpha centauri should be the ship to earth or something like that?!

It seems the map works now. Or perhaps I am just waiting for a problem to occur.
Solution: Open the map in the editor, save it, start up Civ.
At least I´ve managed to play a couple of turns without getting the previous error message.

I said that too quickly... Had hardly sent the message and gone back to civ before the game crashed.
Seems it has something to do with a special kind of unit. I will E-mail the author.

I know I haven't been here for a while, and I am sorry for that.
I have been trying to find a house to buy, and work has been taking up my time.

I will lok into the problem now and should have an answer to it soon.

I have deleted the unit Power Armor.
The unit must have still been in there from my Scenario.
I guess I copied it when I made the Map and just didn't delete it.

I will play the map again sometime soon. I don´t think it´s possible to rate things anymore, at least I can´t find the "rate this thread" function that used to be present.
