5 Specials in a city

I'm not quite sure, but I remember a game where I had 5 specials in a city. It was a city very close to the date line.
 
The date line is a major bug in CIV2. It messes up GOTO commands. Also I've heard that if two cities share squares over the date line, the production of G/B/Sh is counted twice. I have not tried this, but it probably explains why the MapEditor always seems to leave ocean on the date line when doing a random map.
 
I have never seen this. In games that I have played, the date line normally appears in the ocean. Sort of like this dividing line in the map where the ocean runs from pole to pole.
 
Yeah - MapEditor does that. If you make your own map, or use one that someone else made, you can make land on the date line and get these problems. I'm sure you've seen the GOTO command fail for a ship or plane when the destination is on the other side of the line. One of the first things a newbie learns is to distrust GOTO...
