As of now the Build queues, laborer assignments and worker actions for the 2/17 t/c are as follows:

Kuhkaff - Military Academy (c), Army
...................No Micromanagement
Valhalla - Aqueduct (c), Frigate, Bank
...................No Micromanagement
Naerva - Temple (c), Marketplace
...................Move laborer from forest NW of town to grasslands
...................South of town.
Gunningheim - Marketplace (c), University
...................No Micromanagement
Androbius - Aqueduct (c), Temple, Marketplace
...................No Micromanagemnt
Riga - Granary (c), Barracks, Temple
...................No Micromanagement
Dapperdan - Granary, Marketplace
....................Move both laborers to coastline for growth in 10.
Columbia - Change to Harbor, Library, Granry
....................Move laborers to the two forests SW of town.
Zarn/PAN - Library (c), Harbor
....................Move laborer to grassland for growth in 7.

The top three priorities for tile development in the province are:
1. the irrigation of the grasslands South of Naerva
2. the clearing of the forest and irrigation of the land of the Southern tile of Gunningheim
3. the mining of the two grasslands SW of Valhalla.
These are listed in order of priority.

Because of 40J's point of view in the PI #2 thread, I must demanded, according to him, that you do not do any kind of improvements to any tiles in The North province that i have Not already indicated. Thank you.

Serenity

Please irrigate some of the tiles adjacent to the city.

Zorgonzolia

Octavanium

Build Queue (as of Feb 17 2003)

Ise - settler (22 turns)

84% of the citizens think Ise should be moved. votes are tied between moving directly north, and moving NE. However, I am giving instructions that the settler that is built be sent to the square with 'relocate'. once that has happened, sell all improvements, disband Ise, then build on the square marked.

Hakodate - continuously build Riflemen

irrigate the mined grassland, mine the hill, mine another mountain. place laborers on the newly mined mountain.

Bizen - Aqueduct (16), Marketplace (for the happy faces, I know tax is at 0%)[/B]
I have marked some of the squares inside bizen's radius with a 'L'. place laborers (those guys who collect food, trade and shields) on them, with the exception of the mount with gold.
GIVE ME MY WORKERS BACK! THEY DIDN"T DO WHAT I TOLD THEM TO DO!

I plan to make Bizen size 12. A 9 extra happy faces from a market would be nice

Shimoneski - Marketplace (14), worker

forest the tundra. if we want to reach max production for the city (which is 23 shields per turn minus corruption) we need to forest four more tundra, or alternatively mine and railroad when we can.

THIS WORKER IS TO REMAIN IN MAG, SINCE NO OTHERS DO.

Novgorod - Granary (41) Harbor (80?) Aquaduct (100 [50 with forest])

forest one of the tundra! IT WILL HALVE BUILD TIME!, and move one of the laborers from the coast to the new forest. that will halve build time for the granary. when a harbor is built, plant another forest and use it.

In response to the senate thread, here is the Idiot's Guide to Worker Actions:

Key:
F/RR - Forest or Railroad.
L: Ignore these, except for Bizen
M: place mine here
RR: place Railroad here
I: Irrigate here
F: place forest here
Relocate: Relocate Ise to here

Notes:
L, F with H means 'laborer and forest when there is a harbour'.

Foreign Affairs

Please take the following actions:

France

Sign a trade embargo with them against Persia. Since they broke the alliance, this will serve to make it highly unlikely that they join the Persian side.

Babylon

Nothing for FA. Trade should consider 'purchasing' one worker from them for our WM and 9 gold.

Iroquois

Renegotiate peace. They give us 60 gold.

China

Embargo vs. the Persians. I would like to solidify this relationship. They are currently cautious.

The FA department supports gifts to our allies against Persia if they are in the form of a resource required to build military units.

The South Doughnut Coast

Continue with the build queue. If the worker in Padmativa is completed, put him to work setting up rails that belong to the province.

EA

Military Department Instructions

Transfer 3 Cavalry units and 2 Rifelmen in Kagoshima to Strider's Haven

Transfer 2 Cavalry units in Nagasaki to Strider's Haven

These units would be for the Expiditonary force for Persia.

Once Industralization has been researched, start for electricity, then for Scientific Method.
