It's the time of the month again for a new GOTM! This month we will have a Prince level game on a small map, with 7 Civs. Next month we will use a pre-made map for GOTM #6.

Here are the parameters for GOTM #5:

- Difficulty Level: PRINCE
- Map Size: SMALL; Land Form: VARIED;
- Climate: NORMAL; Temperature: WARM; Age: 3 Billion Years
- 7 Civilizations
- Starting Year: 4000 BC
- Barbarian Activities: RAGING HORDE
- Civilization: GERMAN
- Leader Name: FREDERICK
- Victory Condition: CONQUEST or SPACESHIP
- Starting Bonus: NO STARTING TECH, 1 SETTLERS

I had a hunch this month's game would be on a small map, and that's just what I've been training on... Except I was expecting king-level instead of prince. Mwaaahahahaha!!!

Hmmm well I'm happy about the Prince level, but 7 Civs on a small map!!!!

God damn I have to change my style a bit a build actual unites in this game - I don't like it.....

This time I'm pretty sure I can find time too. Only everyone knows by now that doesn't concern them, since I always end up low.

And I really like the map this time.

Finally I can play the GOTM (I planned to do it last month, but then it was on Deity, and I know that's WAY too difficult for me as I've only played on Prince before). It's not the settings I support, but it's okay. I suspect many people are going to win by conquest this time...

What's wrong with Bodø/Glimt?

I played a few hours last night ('til 4 AM). I am in AD 1050 and have just switched to Fundy! The Sioux are history and Romans only have one or two cities left!

My empire has hordes of Veteran Knights...

ahhh... better than bad sex!

I'm doing great, i took over the Zulu's and have taken control of my whole continent i moved onto the Persians land and settled 3 cities, i'm at war with them and the carthagians, the sioux and romans are dead.

I just select a civ randomly, w/o any particular reson. Next minth we could play as the Greeks if u want.

I'm happy that we are the Germans! I have finished too, it wasn't really hard to conquest the world. I never play for conquest, but since you get more points for it, I thought: let's try. I only forgot to save at the right moments so the saves I sent are a bit of the dates. I hope Matrix will accept them, I don't feel like playing it again on short notice.

BTW, Matrix, how are the results of GOTM4 doing?

Matrix'll be in his girlfriend's house for the next few days. He said he would send me the results later this week (around Friday), after he return.
