May I be the first to say hello to the 2nd Governor of Norwich. I know you will do a good job....;) May I say, we should build couthouses so the coruption can go down. then start getting sheilds up so we can build faster.

Make the citizens of Norwich proud!:D

From,
Truckingpete
Former Governor of Norwich

P.S. - Can I be Lt. Governor if you need one.

Thanks!

Fellow Governor,

congratulations to your appointment. You already post build queues above. However, besides supplying our military with the necessary units, one of our main tasks will be to fight corruption, which is running rampant in Fanatika. This should be stopped as much as possible. Based on my experience, I made 2 post I would like to bring to your kind attention. I hope you find them useful and in your efforts to make Fanatika less corrupt.

Governor of Audiac

I'd also suggest excess food in this province inoder to use taxmen.

Everyone please take note: the build queues posted above are those that are currently in place, i.e., they are from the previous term. As always these can be modified according to the desires of our citizens. I agree that courthouses would be good but it will take a long time to build them...

I have already posted in the president's thread asking what our national goals are so that we can try to use our provincial resoureces towards those goals.

I'd like to see aqueducts built (rushed?), with all terrain irragated so that there's enough excess food for taxmen specialist.

With us now (soon) assimilating Greece and Egypt with many cities closer to our capital Deux Riviere, any chance for productivity in this province is gone. Courthouses will not help, only cost money. :( If we want culture expansion, build temples, not libraries. They are cheaper and give happiness allowing 1 more specialst.

Be still my beating heart, is that actually   SUMMARY information I see above?

Stuff that I might use to understand what's going on in the province?

I think I'm feeling faint ..... and joyous!

I guess there's no hurry in submitting build queues since nothing will be built in Norwich in the next turns. I'd like to hear our citizens thoughts on allowing our towns and cities to grow as CT has suggested.

I really don't agree with spending untold amounts of rush capital on Aqueducts just to gain a few gpt per city. Governor donsig, since your cities are corrupt like mine, I suggest that we both do our best to keep our cities small and use them to double the size of the national workforce. These workers can be used first to rid our provinces of unneeded mines by replacing them with irrigation. Then they can be either released to national interests, or used to implement the infamous Size 12 Plan. ;)

For reference, check out the cities of Antwerp and Kobayashi City. Both cities are Size 2, but have an almost fully improved 21 tiles in their respective city radii. These could use the extra pop, and are close enough to either palace to provide a significant boost to commerce and production.

Please call on my office if you would like to join the crusade in fighting corruption through an honest day's work. I look forward to hearing from you.

Respectfully,

Donovan Zoi
Governor of Nihilon

PS On that other matter, I am still thinking it over. Do you have another tech available? :D

All of our cities have temples except Almaren and Amphi.
Three cities are at maximum size 6 (Almaren, Finklewink and Kazas).
It appears that our nation needs workers.
Unfortunately, switching to workers now in almost all cases results in the loss of accumulated shields.
We can have 60g for rushes if we sell off the bank in Desolatem.

Taking all this into consideration here are the queues I propose:

Code:
City Current queue

Almaren temple (25), worker (10)
Amphi temple (44)
Avon Nova settler (16), worker (10)
Berlingueria harbor (67),
Desolatem settler (18), worker (10)
Finklewink settler (13), worker (10)
Kazas settler (8), worker (10)
Norwich settler (18), worker (10)
Sandy worker (1), harbor (80)

I further propose:

1) the bank in Desolatem be sold and the temple in Almaren rushed on turn 5 for 80g;

2) the worker recruited in Sandy be used to irrigate the mines in Norwich;

3) any settlers recruited be resettled in more productive cites outside Norwich.

I will post these instructions now. If there is an outcry before the game play session I can certainly modify the posted instructions.

Our province now boasts two more citizens. :)

Code:
City Current queue

Almaren temple (19), worker (10)
Amphi temple (38), worker (10)

Desolatem settler (12), worker (10)
Finklewink settler (7), worker (10)
Kazas settler (2), worker (10)
Norwich settler (12), worker (10)
Sandy harbor (75)

These are already in place from the last game play session. I see no reason to change anything. Thoughts?

We have a string of workers in the province now. I will reiterate our request to have the work force irrigate over the mines.

I will also resubmit our request to sell the Bank in Desolatem and rush the temple in Almaren.

Almaren now has a temple! :jump:

The only change to the build queue is another worker in Kazas since the current one will be working in six turns. The change is in bold.

I will post these now since the gameplay session is tomorrow. :)
