No sound files?

I reinstalled civ5 after a few months, but noticed this time there was no sound playing for the leaders and the soundtracks. However I can hear the clicking of the buttons as well as other miscellaneous sounds such as the animals and the bell that rings when you find an ancient ruin. Other than that, no other sounds can be heard. However, up to now I didn't mind. But when I tried to increase the volume, I noticed that all sounds were already at max level. I tried to find the sound files necessary in my directory, but I noticed I couldn't find them. Anyone know where I can find the sound files, or, where I can download them? I really want the music back!

Go to your Steam Library, right click on Civ V, choose Properties, then Local Files and then Verify Integrity of Game Files. If you're missing files or your sound files are corrupt, Steam should download what you need.
