Help with prince game

I recently got back from a vacation of about 3 weeks, and sat down at my computer to play I nice game of civ for the first time in 3 weeks. To my horror, I had lost my ability to defeat the prince level AI! After 4 unsuccessful games, I started poking around the forums to read up on some material, and I did get noticeably better. However, I still couldn't win. So I decided to start a game like some others around here where people could critique my playing style and hopefully help me improve. Or reprove, I suppose.

What just happened? I hit spacebar and it posted this... I should be finished in 10 minutes. Sorry about that.
