Civilization Revolution

I think it's a safe bet that Civ V is the next in the line for the PC CIv games (let's not ignore CivRev though - it looks like a lot of fun)

Hopefully they'll keep the team around long enough to do a patch for BTS, but don't hold your breath. If Revolution is as buggy as CIV, Warlords and, especially, BTS then they are going to have their hands full for a while yet.

You can't patch a DS game and MS charges a fortune to allow you to patch a 360 game.

Good, then maybe these guys will learn how to have enough respect for their craft and their customers to get it right the first time.

They also have the advantage of writing for systems that are, for all practical purposes, the same. It's much easier to develop when you have fixed parameters about RAM, video, etc.

(Personally, it's almost amazing how well many games run on such disparate systems as individual PCs. ;))

1 think id like them to add for civ 5 is to be able to command your troups more, like tell them how to attack, just a skirmish, full out attack, that type of stuff
