Sorry to bother you all, but me and my friend are having trouble playing online with one another. We have tried using both a "Hamachi" and a normal connection, but we have had no luck in either. I am running a version of windows 10; and my friend a version of windows 8; and we are unsure on whether or not this is affecting the connection in any way. We both have been careful to download MastermindX's patch for 64 bit operating systems.
So far I have tried port-forwarding 4993 and giving my friend my public IP address. This was to no prevail. We then tried a "Hamachi" connection, using both "Network Game"
and "Internet Game" options; again to no prevail. We then both tried joining a man who we met via a civilization forum, and failed to succeed, (this was an attempt at a "Hamachi" connection by the way).
We are desperate now, and in search of a handsome hero to come to our rescue.
