Camera all messed up?

I'm running BTS 3.19 Bug 4.4 in common assets. Al of a sudden, the camera went awry. When I go into view a city, a much larger area is shown. I uninstalled and re-installed but still have the problem. Even when I start a new game, the original site is distant and at a low angle. Anyone know how to get back to the default camera angle?

I even tried some starts with BAT 4.1 loaded. This is what I see when the start at 4000 BC loads:

Look in the right upper corner of the main screen. There is a slider there. It is BUG's camera angle control. In your pictures it is set at the max, about 100 degrees. Slide it to the left to reduce the field of view angle. Normal is about 42 degrees but you can set it anywhere around there to get exactly the field of view angle that you want. Somehow, it has gotten set to maximum.
