Civ 3 movies not playing

Hi

I'm sorry if this has already been addressed, I have looked but can't find any info.

When I complete a game I'm not seeing any movies - I won a game by space race, the screen went black and did nothing until I clicked the mouse, then it went straight to the stats for the game.

Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
