Evening 3 - Abstinence?
Having spent much of their energies discussing whether it would be wise to allow a day to pass without an execution, the Princesses finally seemed to have reached an agreement. Although
Princess Tegvtec received a couple of accusations earlier on, as the end of the day drew near, all votes had been retracted and every member of the group seemed to be in agreement.
However, with only moments to spare before the designated time for voting to end,
Princess mgsmuhammed broke ranks and cast her accusation against
Princess Caledorn, giving no explanation for this choice. Responding quickly,
Princess ash88 made a counter-accusation, and demanded that
mgsmuhammed reverse her vote and restore the consensus. Time was too short, though, and the day's end arrived with both votes still in place.
With one vote apiece,
Princess Caledorn and
Princess mgsmuhammed were now tied, and the Princesses had to turn to the labyrinthine rules they had agreed upon shortly after the Queen was murdered. Although the reasons for it were confusing and opaque (to say the least), the end result was that
Princess Caledorn was taken out into the garden and executed in the customary manner, all the while looking quite baffled about the evening's events. Once the deed was done, the five remaining Princesses examined
Caledorn's possessions for evidence of treachery. Finding none, they were forced to conclude that...

I suggested slaze, yes, but I gave good reasons for it, which you evidently agreed with. And when I said I disliked the idea of a stalemate I was referring to a situation where nobody is killed by either us or the mafia until one of us "makes the first move", so yes, it was and is obvious what that would lead to: a dull game.
